I bought Pun's Capital Punishment today and came across the track "Boomerang". After listening to it a couple of times i realized i had heard this beat somewhere else before. Turns out it was on this Quasimoto track "Come on feet" that i stumbled across on youtube a few weeks ago. I looked in the book that came with the Pun CD to see if it was Qua's that produced the track but it only says "VIC". Is VIC another one Qua's many names or did he just recycle this sample?

I noticed the same thing with Sunz of Man's "Banksta'z" and Jae Hood's "Cannon"

The Premo beat for "mathematics" on BOBS is very similar to "Hip-hop" on Like Water for Chocolate

from what I remember, the Pun track is produced by one of the Beatnuts, and it has nothing to do with Quasimoto..both sampled a song from the french film Savage Planet
