Ready To Die is one of my top ten albums, too. I know what you mean about him being overrated, but you can't deny he had skills. I'm putting Ready To Die on now.

RIP B.I.G.
on the scene from the end of '94 and the start of '97
so short span of time, and some really classic tracks (RTD is a classic, LAD is cool, love the 'I got a story to tell' track)

He had some classics but I've never considered him the greatest and his death didn't effect Hip Hop it just opened it up for Jay-z.
Think about that shit.

Ed-word i agree with you. If he would've still been alive and if he had still been with Bad Boy, he definitely would've been a pop rapper because Life After Death album was pop. Puff Daddy forces his artists to be pop because he's only interested in selling records and he doesn't care about the music. Shyne, Black Rob, The Lox are hard rappers but their albums on Bad Boy should've been harder and i blame Puff Daddy for that. Puff had The Lox wearing gay clothes on Money, Power, Respect album cover LOL. I'm sure it wasn't The Lox's idea to wear those wack clothes. RIP to Biggie. He was a good hardcore mc. Ready To Die is the only album of his i listen to.
