They are part of holy trinity of hip-hop double albums, along with Wu-Tang forever. Now I ain't no Wu dickryder, but objectively speaking Wu-Tang Forever is best of them.

So, which one is better? I say it's a tuff choice, but... in my opinion, in any case NOT objectively... Life after Death is better, because of mafioso vibe which I'm great fan of, and because of smaller amount of guests than on All Eyez on Me. Especially on 2nd disc 2Pac had too little place to say what he gotta say.

Peace

(BTW as I noticed, critics usually put em this way: 1. Wu-Tang Forever, 2. All Eyez on Me, 3. Life After Death)

Life After Death. I never liked All Eyez On Me. I like 2pac, but I think All Eyez On Me is really overrated and too commercial.

7 day theory was a better pac album.

All eyes on me woulda been tight if they left the shit with dpgc off.

All Eyez On Me!!!

There is just too much classic shit on that album. Altho I still rank it as Pac's 3rd best

I liked every track on 'Life after Death'. Its a classic produced to perfection where every last lyric is ingenious and indispensable.
'All Eyez On Me' in contrast is cartoonishly paranoid and bloated with filler. Its not an awful album, just that it really gets repetitive thematically and some of the production is sloppy. If it was edited down to one disc it would work a lot better.

Life After Death. That's the blueprint 4 all commerical rappers. It's crazy 'cause it's 10 yrs old and heads are still trying to copy it

Good explanation of what I was saying about the 7 day theory.

y'all are fucked up thinking that Life After Death is better than All Eyes On Me, Pac's album went quadruple platinum, it was the world record title holding album until Nelly hopped in the scene with quintuple platinum, which he doesn't deserve, but Pac will always be greater than Biggie simply because the man has been dead for over a decade and still has material pumping, he was dedicated to his music and his fans, Biggie was more shortlived!

Life After Death went diamond, moron.

And you're better than someone because someone keeps digging up old bullshit that wasn't meant to be released years after your death? That's completely fucking stupid.

Life After Death...but, All Eyes on Me is also a classic album that is plagged due to the second disc being so commercial. I think if the 2nd disc of AEOM would have been as classic as the first than It would have been my choice.

Life only went diamond if you count it as 2 albums, I'm pretty sure it sold 5 mil.

Anyways, I liked AEOM better personally. It's got a lot of my favourite Pac songs, it's got filler for sure though but it doesn't bother me. Kinda like how I rate T2000 highly despite the 'too many skits' most people complain about.

Wikipedia (I know...) still lists it as higher than All Eyez On Me, which I think is at 9 million.

All Eyes is one of 2 Tupac records I liked (the other being the Makavelli record). But Life After Death was still a better record in my opinion.

Cant C Me was Classic. Perfect emotion in the flow. He wasnt playin on some of that album.

Big had that kinda flow all the time. His delivery was always on point and the emotion in his words was to tha fullest even if he was bein more laid back then Pac.

Its horrible to have to pick between these two. All the bad mouthing comes out.
