times are chaning man. I want az to do good and these are the fucking labels that are big right now so it would be good for him to get on a big label. I mean i dont want to hear them all over his cd but I dont think that will happen. But he may not even go to dipset. If he does be happy for him

if it matters to anyone, he says "we got the format coming out", meaning it hadnt come out yet. The format came out this past november.
I wouldnt like to see this happen.

wonder if he will go with the beat makers that he uses currently, or swap to the dipset production team.
would be a bad move if he did, the beats on "The Format" were generally good.
Dipset has some good beats too (some<--)

LOL@AZ signing with The Diplomats record label hahahahahahahahaha. That would be a terrible decision for him because his style of rap doesn't fit in with their style of rap. He should stay true to his fans and stay independent.
yeah he should stay true and starve to death.

How do you know what his money situation is like? Don't think just because he's with a independent label that he doesn't have enough money to live off of.
and just because he's on a certain label doesnt mean he has to change his style.

Look at what happened to Mobb Deep. Their style of music changed when they got with G Unit. I hope that wouldn't happen with AZ if he signed with The Diplomats but you never know. AZ has been underground for so long, i don't think he'll ever change his style to sell records.
exactly
and for the record 'blood money' wasnt as bad as people made it out to be

i dont think mobb deep are bad because of g unit, but p is just fucking terrible now, and "Blood Money" was that bad.
the move might work for AZ, but if it doesnt then hes going to cop alot of shit.
i cant see him still using premo and the like on his new album instead of dipset in house producers. and personally i dont think dipset production would suit his style at all. we shall see though.

That's what i'm saying. Blood Money was a pretty good album. Only songs i didn't like were Backstage Pass, Give It To Me, Daydreaming. Mobb Deep's Amerika's Nightmare album was tight to me and a lot of their fans didn't like that album.

Sean Michael you're right about Prodigy. His lyrics have slipped lately but money changes rappers.

yeah he should stay true and starve to death.my thoughts as well - you could only be slept on for so long before something needs to be done to secure your future

didnt az have his own record label and some artists he was promoting etc.
seems strange that he would abandon that.

Dipset isnt G Unit, it would be great for AZ, instead of him slippin away strugglin to put out records, give him some life, Dipset have alot of good beats, seee Heatmakerz
diplomat records IS independent.

- Ur right Dipset is worse tha gunit, and have u seen gunit's beats? they got dre doin big things and based on their rep alone they can get basically anyone they want
- And to the ppl saying its about money, I believe that Az would have went to a different label a long time ago if he wanted money, so its def not about that...

WTF?? These Labels big? Dipset doesnt really sell & i heard G-Units albums have been floppin lately. If he wants 2 sell he needs 2 go 2 So So Def because unfortunately theyre sellin the most
