I think this dude(along with the early Freestyle Fellowship stuff) is MAD underrated and one of the greatest slept on West Coast emcees out there...

Anybody ever hear Book of Human Language?? Its a damn classic but never talked about.....I think its right up there with Ready to Die, Illmatic, and Me Against the World, etc.....

Its not as well known as those albums but lyrically its amazing.....

Yes. Book of Human Language was amazing. All Balls Don't Bounce was dope, as well. I haven't listened to him in a long time, though.

Yes he is one of the best lyricists in the west. You can't go wrong with any of his albums...I think his whole catalog averages out to about 9/10

funny you say that... a few years ago I picked up 'Love and Hate' based on this review: http://rapreviews.com/archive/2003_06_loveandhate.html (http://rapreviews.com/archive/2003_06_loveandhate.html)

back when I was picking up albums I'd never heard of off the strength of his recommendations.

I hate that album. I'm wondering how many of you enjoyed it. However, since I'd heard it I have found a bit of his stuff enjoyable

I like it, but not his best. I have "Hip-hop and the World We Live In" and they got a shit review from there but I like it better than Love & Hate.
