Giants v. Cowboys is going to be one of the biggest Giant regular season games in a few seasons without a doubt. I will be so fucking pumped I'm sleeping late this week just to make time fly faster..j/k. Giants, I think, must win and in my opinion we'll see the Giants this week that we'll see for the remainder of the season. Not Beating the Titans in retrospect I think is a good thing. We came back against Philly the same way. Now, once we play Philly again (In Jerz), Philly won't be able to use that game as motivation because we'll already know what Philly is bringing. And I know McNabb is out but Philly vs. New York no matter who plays is gonna' be a banger. So it could work out. And who knows maybe Giants come out and dominate Cowboys at home. Should be game of the week in the NFC. But I know that the G-Men are going to use that depressing loss last week as fuel to the fire. I mean.. shit.. now the Giants are in the position I LOVE my teams to be in. Underdog roles. Giants getting 3 at home? WTF! No respect once again for us and I love it this way. So bring on the Cowgirls.

P.S... when ROmo finds Jessica Simpson in bed with T.O... the controversy will start.

IronFingaz7
11-29-2006, 05:27 PM
We'll see what happens, Giants can go either way, let all this turmoil going on fuel them to come out strong or just distract them. We'll see on Sunday though, 4:15

certainly true to some extent^, the Giants staff was calling some dumb plays in the red zone. Don't know why they'd consistently throw the ball on 2nd down and goal when you got either Jacobs or Barber to run the ball for you. It allowed the Boys to keep 'em out the endzone more than once. Fuck it though, I'll take it.

word, I'm glad they got rid of Vanderwack. I can't lie though Martin was makin me nervous after that first miss and then that one that almost wasn't. I'm just happy to see Romo keep his poise down the stretch even though he didn't have that great of a game. He came up big in the end to get 'em that W. Something you just couldn't count on Bledsoe to do. This whole season has done a 180 in the last month or so.

Visionz
12-04-2006, 01:05 AM
not his best game, agreed^ but he completed that pass to Witten in the end of the game to seal it. To me it only says that he doesn't loose confidence in himself when he makes a mistake. Chicago's a good team and I respect 'em but Grossman can't keep on playin like he has been and expect to make it thru the playoffs. If they did have consistent play at QB then I'd say they have to be the favorites w/ both the D, the running game and the quality receivers but as it is, I don't see it.

chea, bill simmons is one of my favorite writers. The man is great. word up.

What's with the hate against the Bears? lol They are a solid overall team, not just their defense. Their special teams is really good(the best around), they have a good running game going right now, etc. The main weakness right now is Rex Grossman. He started out the season real good, but has dropped off since then. The Bears have won some games with Rex Grossman playing poorly. Once they replace him, or if he gets back into form, the Bears will be blowing teams out again like they did earlier in the year.

I don't remember the Jets even scoring a point against the Bears in their game? lol

And I'm going to hate on the Cowboys now. I'm tired of hearing about them. I'd like to see Romo go up against a team that actually has a good defense, and see what he could do. The Bucs suck, and are one of the worst teams. The Colts defense sucks. They aren't the same Colts as last year. Almost all their wins this year were close games, that could have went either way. The Giants are all banged up right now. If the Cowboys played a team like the Chargers or the Ravens, I think they would get smoked.

(ie- the Saints losses to the Nati and Shitsburg followed by 3 straight wins) Should they just lay down casue the mighty Saints rolled them up in their Texas or 'wake up' to the fact that they need to play solid every game??????? Its just another week of the NFL where every week any team can get out played.

PS- Thank you for quoting my line about the Gold Pants. I really was hoping to get the word out on that

Just cuz I know the Dallas coaching staff checks this site for tips, defending against the spread offense in a 3-4 is a bad idea.

I say get DB's who can cover. I am hoping parcells can get this team in the playoffs, he knows that the cowboys are not great and that game with the saints proves it.

I think Dallas, New Orleans and Philly all match up well against Chicago. The NFC is WIDE open. The Saints were my pick until last week's loss. I'll have to see how they finish off the season. AFC wise, although I'd love to see the Colts go, I don't think anyone can deal with San Diego, who I think will take the bowl this year. Although The Colts did show up big time against Cinci, but Manning has never lost playing them. If the Colts can put together time consuming drives and keep their D off the field, they have a shot at the Chargers. The Ravens are the third best AFC team with the Pats right behind them.

As of right now my Power Rankings look like this:

1 - Chargers
2 - Colts
3 - Bears
4 - Saints
5 - Ravens
6 - Cowboys
7 - Pats
8 - Philly

Oh, yeah, it's a shame Roscoe Parrish from the Bills did not make the Pro Bowl. He is leading or has led the NFL in punt return yardage this year. He's an explosive player and the Bills should replace Josh Reed with him next year as one of their starting wide outs. The Bills will be a team to watch next year as it finally looks like their D is back in form, their special teams are great and their QB J.P. Losman has improved dramatically as the season progressed.

Most of the people on ESPN were saying they didn't think Romo should have made it to the pro bowl this season. They said since half the voting is done by fans, and the Cowboys are 'America's chosen redneck team', that a lot of fans voted for him. Plus the fact that the NFC is really watered down, with not much to pick from.

Who do you think will win Rookie of the Year? That rookie receiver on the Saints is having a real good year.

Well, if the Steelers make it to the playoffs, and they play the Browns in the first round, then they have a chance to win.

Maybe Tony Romo should concentrate less on hanging out with sluts, and more on football. And maybe T.O. should act like he's over 10 years old, and get some sticky gloves so he can actually catch a ball.

I gotta give it up once again to Vince Young and the Titans. Starting out losing the first 5 games of the season, and having a chance to possibly make the playoffs. They have been winning a bunch of exciting close games.

The injury excuse is ALWAYS legit...

Lavaar Arrington
Justin Tuck
Luke Petitgout
Chad Morton
Michael Strahan
Amani Toomer
Sinorice Moss (played once in Week 1 injured until about Week 15)

I mean some of those guys just went down too like Strahan recently on IR as well our PR and KR Morton? Arrington wasn't putting up big numbers but his presence alone means alot and the game he went out in he really had some big time plays including the safety on Drew Bledsoe. That excuse is never too old but I don't even use it unless people are so blind and never even seen the G-Men play. If ESPN rides Carolina's dick about Delhomme's/Smith's injuries being a big factor in them being home now then stick up for the Giants as well.. we get no respect and I love that because when we do come up so many people gonna ride our bandwagon baby. Don't be shocked if it's this year too.

The Giants over Philly... fuck the bullshit... and if not.. I won't give a shit I won't be down about it.. I'll get fucked up and wake up normal again so only time will tell.

What are your picks for the playoffs?

I have:

The Eagles over the Giants
The Seahawks over the Cowboys

The Patriots over the Jets
The Chiefs over the Colts

eagles over the giants
cowboys over the seahawks

jets over the patriots
chiefs over the colts

LJ could have 1000 yards rushing vs the colts this week

Giants handled that motherfucka! LT, Banks, Carson baby!
Did you know Elway was drafted by the Yankee's? Remember that Coors comercial where old dude says how he sat there watching him during batting practice around the time he got drafted by the Broncos and this dude says Elways threw a baseball from home plate to the 400 yd seats.

I know though how much he lost yo. The Giants were the best D then. His worst superbowl loss was to SF 55 to 10 or sum shit. But no QB has more comebacks then him or more superbowl apperances. Even Terry Bradshaw told him after winning agaisnt ATL in '99 how foolish it was for him to retire when no QB ever won 3 bowls in a row. He could of done it I bet.

Cause and effect yo. After Elway retired - that next season Terell Davis tore his knee up because he got the ball too much because Brian Griese was so frikkin unreliable. I call it the Elway curse in Denver.

Did the Eagles get Detmer back to be a backup quarterback again, or just to hold the ball for field goals? lol

Penalties-Yards Cowboys 8-74 Seahawks 3-15
Cowboys got robbed all night, even with Romo fucking up and the Pass Interference on Newman. Seahawks walked away with a game they should've lost.

Keep dreaming, dude. Colts will beat the Ravens, it'll be close. Although San Diego is my pick to take the AFC, I will be pulling for today's winner between the Jets and Pats to knock them off next week so that The Colts (after beating the Ravens) get the championship game at home, and thus breeze right into the Superbowl.

Well, the 'hawks should've won the Superbowl last year if it wasn't for the refs. Romo blew it.

The Colts played very well on defence yesterday, and the Ravens typically do not score a lot of points. Yeah, Manning, true to his playoff form, threw three intercepttions but once he just started throwing to the tight ends, the backs and letting the backs run the ball, everything went well. If they stick to that game plan, they will beat the Ravens in a close one. San Diego on the other hand worries me, I don't think the Colts can beat them.

Like has been said, it's Romo's fault the Cowboys lost. They would have lost next week anyway, but still. What a dreadful end this year for the Cowboys. Losing to the Lions one week, in what might have been a division deciding game. And then blowing a snap on a 3 yard field goal the next week, in a playoff game. lol

I think the Eagles have a good shot to beat the Saints. The Bears will handle the Seahawks.

I hate the eagles. but thats funny for me to say that cuz i hate the eagles cuz of donvan mccrabz. donvan is hurt. i hated when he dissed my team the bucs in 2002 playoffs when he scored a touchdown and dunked on the feild goal post.

Pats really opened shit up in the last few mins of the 4th quarter. Dats myyyyyyy Squaddddddddd. The D showed signs of promise and brilliance. Watch out mutha fuckas, I saw flashes of the type of D we won 3 superbowls with. Not that I really feel we'll win again, cuz I'm a little optimistic. But there is no team in the league that we cannot beat. We'll hang with everybody and ya'll know that. It's just a matter of if we keep our shit together. The Pats worry every single team.

Cowboys should have not even been going for the win. Terry Glenn's catch was an incomplete, not a fumble. It's sad that the Seahawks almost lost that game with all the bullshit going on.

 , I find this hard to watch sometimes. I could consider almost this season a failure.

The giants had no businee even being the playoffs.

Anyone seen closeups of the drop field goal? I don't want to make excuses but that ball looks like it's covered in baby oil. If you watch carefully, everything was done right (snap, catch,no bobbling when positioning the ball), then all of a sudden it slips out of his hand.

the ball used for kicking feild goals is different than the ball that quarterbacks use........Romo knew that so theres no excuse if he felt as tho he couldt handle the snap he shouldve asked for bledsoe to take it
