Earlier in the week prosecutors named Ronald "Tinard" Washington as one of two gunmen who burst into Jam Master Jay's Hollis, Queens 24/7 studio and was a lookout, holding back other people, while another as yet unnamed gunman fired at JMJ and then shot him in the head at point blank range. Washington was a close associate of Jam Master Jay, and the two were reportedly "childhood friends."

As part of the investigation, claims have been revealed that Washington was also one of three men involved in the drive by shooting murder of Live Squad member and rapper Randy "Stretch" Walker.

Stretch was at one time a very close friend of Tupac Shakur and was present at his 1994 Quad robbery and shooting. One year later to the exact day, Stretch was murdered, leading many fans to believe his death was an act of revenge.

At one time StreetHop.com was told that Stretch's vehicle was fired upon by the car driving in front of it, causing it to crash. Reports now state that Washington was the gunman firing out of his back window into Stretch's minivan.

In addition, AllHipHop.com has been contacted by a source who is saying that the murder was a drug hit:

"Stretch had robbed a big drug dealer of over 10 bricks (kilos), there was pressure on the street for him to give those drugs back. And when he didn't, a hit was issued and Tinard (Washington) and three other men took it. They turned that van into swiss cheese with the Akiller (AK-47) and they had orders to make sure that at the very least, Stretch was dead."
