what is the significance of skin color?
skin is an organ, like the lungs or heart.
it serves a purpose for our body.
and it serves a practically identical purpose in people of all colors.

what really seperates people whose skin colors are different shades?
is the seperation not only in our minds?
if i saw a white cat, and then a brown cat, and then a grey cat.
i probably wouldn't think anything of it.
so why, among people, does it make such a huge difference?
is it really the skin of white people, that seperates them from black people?
if so, why?

if ur askin for the biological, evolutionary reason then i'm pretty sure there is none...i read Jared Diamond's book The Third Chimpanzee (highly recommend it to anybody, you'll totally dig it) and he breaks down almost everything about humanity and when it came to diff skin colors there was basically no real answer.....ppl commonly think its because of the sun and ppl in more tropical areas are darker but thats false (i'll type or scan that excerpt if u dont believe me)..

maybe its just a little thing God threw in there to make life more difficult for us...if we all looked exactly the same there wood be much less problems in the world probably.....but thats just one more huge thing we need to overcome (our perceived racial differences)..

White people are jealous that blacks don't need as much sun screen.

Thats just what i think, i dont understand why we see different colours of animals as the same but us humans as different.
We are the same species, racism is obviously a human attribute because i dont see animals discriminating against each other..

Haha ... good point about the cats. I wonder that all the time. You have racist people who have various types of colored animals yet look at skin color on people as the biggest thing in the world. It's stupid and silly, but it's also a good point to bring up. I know what'cha mean.

God made us different colors to teach us about Him, and carnal behavior. Study the Holy Bible and pray for wisdom. He will answer all your questions how to deal with this situation on earth.

the bible has a lot of wisdom but don't feel you need to respect and live by every word written in it.
