Title says it all.

I'm asking this cause I'm collecting all work by some producers at the moment, and I don't know if I should include stuff they co-produced too.

So it's same if it's written on CD booklet "produced by KRS-One and DJ Premier" or "produced by KRS-One, co-produced by DJ Premier"?

thats the general idea, two cats made a beat together. though it doesnt always work that way in reality. sometimes dudes just get a co credit for royalty purposes without having did anything on the beat.

if you check the liner notes for gangstarr albums, guru is given a co credit for every beat with premo. 4th disciple said in an interview that Rza had nothing to do with the tracks on pickle sickle shovel that Rza got a co credit for.

generally its supposed to mean that two guys collaborated on a track but the only people who really know why certain guys got a credit are the parties who negotiated the credits.

producer - makes the track
co-producer - helps producer make the track
executive producer - the person funding the project.

What is with additional production? Like one Dre did on Goldmine and few other tracks on Big Bang?

Basically E made the beat and then Dre went in and tweaked it. In Dre's case he doesnt even make alot of the beats he gets producer credits for. He just makes others beats sound tighter.
