there is a subtle difference between AI and automation

artificial intelligence still isnt being approached with a full understanding of 'real'/'human' intelligence (or intelligence in general)

there is a rogue unpredictable factor within human intelligence

in the movie 'The Matrix' - they defined this in machines as how the machine acts when it is faced with deletion (death) - it strives to make its way back to the source

but
im not quite so sure if this element in human intelligence is so easily definable

some big parts of human intelligence is the ability to be resilient, learn from mistakes, take chances, pursue new experiences, investigate

the only way we seem to be able to produce beings with like intelligence is the old fashioned way

sperm + egg instead of coffee + boardroom

Better yet, ask Dr. Octagon.

Haha, I actually had Omnicron stuck in my head when I saw the thread. Little strange.
