ive just been listening to this over the past few days and only just realized how good it was. i gotta say theres not a bad track on there, the beats are dope and the lyrics are real as hell although they get a bit repetitive after a while though.

im thinking about coppin the cocoa brovaz album, anyone heard that?

cocoa brovas albums are about the same... maybe not as good, but they still have some good beats and lyrics are same as usual...

Dah' Shinin' is a siiick LP... 2nd favorite LP outta BCC...

10/10 Classic

Thought every track was great except K.I.M. and Wipe Ya Mouf (but are still good). The only skip track for me was the PNC Intro.

This may be my favourite BBC album, and in my top 10. Was just listening to it again, and realized how brilliant it is. Bucktown is one of my favourite hip hop songs ever, and Stand Strong, Sound Bwoy Burial, Hellucination & P.N.C are dope as fuck

10, because it is a timeless album that always somehow ends up in my normal musical rotation. Sound Bwoy Bureill gets me fuckin amped every time that first kick drum hits.

A 10...

Every time I play it, I play the entire album... The order of the tracks are perfect... The album flows well from beginning to end...

One of the best endings to an album too... I always liked how they play the PNC beat for the intro, then fade it out, and you're thinkin, "DAMN, they should've made a whole song with that beat!!!", then Steele says his tribute verse acapella for his friend, THEN the beat comes back on, song begins, and then it ends with Steele repeating his tribute verse which sounds even more powerful than it did before, and then beat fades out...

I LOVE that shit...

8.5/10
Still prefer Nocturnal

Wipe ya Mouth-like a smoother 1995 version of Thug World :).
And if there were less references to...dicks...on the song, and if that chorus part was bit more hard hitting, the album would be a 9.2/10

strong contender for BCC's illest album

David Daniel Davis

It would have sucked for Smif N Wessun if they also got sued by Stephen King and Warner Brothers because they claimed that people were getting their l.p. confused with the novel and film.
