yea it isnt. just chop it (the sample) in 50 parts and start to build it up... uhhhmm. If taking samples from mp3's isnt sampling then what is it?

that's not what i meant at all... you're not supposed to sample mp3's because the quality is obviously horrible (unless it's a 320kbps and even then). only lossless wav's (44100 kHz, 16-bit - and above) should be used for sampling.
