k-rino-valley of decision
a conversation between k-rino the devil and God
I was gonna write a track that was a convo between God and Satan, but my mate couldn't get the beat right. Next thing I knew I was bumping the new K-Rino album and I heard this track. That was the end of that idea.

'Break it Down' and 'Man in the Mask' are both awesome, although 'Man in the Mask' isn't really what hip hop fans would call a "concept song". "Three Gods" is another tight K-Rino track that you might call a "concept song".

7L & Esoteric - Terrorist's Cell (eso is a terrorsist...)

Atmosphere - Little Man (slug from the perspcetive of a father, and son...)

Atmosphere - WND (slug outlines a situation which he is involved in, from the percpective of his enemy (a commercial mc pretty much) - writers never die)

Atmosphere - Multiples (Reprise) (alphabetic rhymes, just better than all the other ones)

Atmosphere - Adjust (about a friends drug abuse, in a pretty obtuse way)

Binary Star - Indy 500 (a race - a metaphor for the music industry)

Canibus - No Return (recounts situations in which he dies)

Nas + Cormega - One Love (Nas version writing to a friend in prison, cormega write a reply based on the original version)

Cryptic One - Anti Mobius Strip Theory album (whole album is about the concept of time, life and death put simply, everyone should have a listen to it) the track Unicycle, Bicycle and Tricycle all discuss cycles of time/life and the like. hard to explain, but lyrically its an interesting album. (oh yeah, and each track is from the perspective of gold, water and lawn as a anology)

De La Soul - Tread Water (chatting to crocadiles etc, lol)

Dea Prez - Animal in Man (animal farm type shit, animals as a metaphor for society)

Del - Pissin' On Your Steps (del disrespects other mc's, and pisses on their steps...)

Jakki The Motamouth - Positive Rap (diagnosed with aids, things go bad - fits into the concept of the album)

J5 - Remember His Name (soup rings various members, discussing someone, who turns out to be death)

Louis Logic - The Ugly Truth (perspective of mr. bush)

Louis Logic - Best Friends + Revenge (apathy watches louis' girl while hes away on tour, she cheats on lou with ap, lou takes revenge)

Masta Ace - Soda and Soap (incorporates soda names into a story)

MF Grimm - The Whole World (description of emotions, using women and men as metaphors,

MF Grimm - Time and Space (analogy of an angel fallen from heaven)

MF Grimm - Life & Death (similar concept to "The Whole World" except he recounts being in a coma, and various concepts such as life, death represented by different characters)

Move.meant - Alpha Beta (a fucking odd story....)

Murs - Walk Like a Man (murs recounts a story of his friend dying, and his revenge)

Nas - Money is a Bitch (title is self explanatory)

Nas - Rewind ("spit a story backwards, it starts at the end")

Oh No - Hank Featuring Feat. LMNO (set up of a robbery with a but of a twist)

Soul Position - Candyland 1,2 & 3 (alphabetic look at 80's/90's childhood)

Yeah word. That album (YCIHMFWH) got me into Atmosphere really. I've got all their albums. They're all pretty good really. But YCIHMFWH was really a standout album to me. I love that joint. One of the best hip hop albums of recent years imo.
