always read about the best producers, Muggs NEVER gets mentioned. So many dope beats for Cypress Hill, Grandmasters, Soul Assassins... This guy is top 3 alone for Temples Of Boom.

Ya, i like Kev Brown but all his beats sounds alike. Kinda like with 9th Wonder. His beats are nice but they have the same vibe. They dont really switch it up.
Surprisingly Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest has produced many bangers in his day. (Nas "One Love" being one of the many.)

I think Muggs was one innovative producer back in the day, all those fucked up basslines and whiny sounds were like nothing ever heard in hip hop before. unfortunately hes just remade that same shit for the last 15 years. I think he gets a fair amount of love from most heads, but realistically his best work was some time ago, and im not gonna wait for Cypress Hill to drop another classic, because they wont.

Madlib. Everyone raves about Dilla (who is great) but IMO Madlib is just as goos but is mentioned nowhere near enough.

Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind from Jedi Mind Tricks is easily the most underrated producer of all time. Thread closed.
