There are other dope uk hip hop albums but the ones I listed I would consider absolute essentials and would recommend you check these out first.

Trust me when I say that all the albums carry that real hip hop of dope lyricism and raw production.

You have got to be joking. Seriously, stay away from Lady Sovereign, she is absolutely awful. Her lyrics are pretty bad from what I can remember and she has a very annoying voice. Also she is one of those people you just want to punch in the face, she thinks she is so bad.

What about Dizzee Rascal? I like his new album too.

Listen to "The Revolution" by Klashnekoff on his "Lionheart: Tussle with the Beast". It's one of my favourite tracks of the year off an amazing album.

Dizzee's new albums isn't very good, "Sirens" is probably the best off it. The only people who get a pass for buying a Lady Sovereign album are 15 year old scally birds!

Oh no mate, please tell me you didn't recommend Asaviour? I've never met anyone who liked him, I always figured he must just be a really nice bloke to keep getting spots on peoples albums!!

Can't believe no-one has suggested Task Force, the undisputed kings of underground uk hip-hop!!!

Get:

Asaviour isn't for everyone but his album is decent, it has great production and features and he comes hard on it, the only thing I can think off that would probably put people off would be the accent.

It's not quite Hip-Hop but definatly spawned from it:Grime/Eskimo

Wylie (The Best)
Flo-Dan (Rhymes Like A MAchine)
Roll Deep (Wylies Crew)
God's Gift (ILLLLLL)
Pay-As-You-Go (no longer)
Kano (Can Represent)
The Streets (Own Sound)
N.A.S.T.Y. Crew (Natural Artistic Sounds Touching You)
S.A.S. (HIP-HOP Style)
Ill Millz (Unreal lyracist)
Scorcher (Hard Lyracist)
Craze-24 (Pure Sick)
Skepta (Ambassador Of Grime)
Devilman (On Another Page)
Dirty Doogz (Unbelivable)

All of these guys will destroy most of the wack so called MC's you hear today.
The Only problem is that obviously it isn't as big as in America so it can be hard to find. There is a couple of good -Battle DVD's- called:
"Lord Of The Mic" which really gives you an insight to the scene over here.
Definatly worth checking, a graet alternative when you want to hear soething new.
PEACE

Aint really feeling this stuff, it's kinda like the UKs answer to crunk. Kano, Willey, Dizzee and JME got skills though.

Figured it's probably easier for people in the US if I just upped some mp3s, so:

Yeah not really my cup of tea eitherjust thought - WuBaller - might like it?
I really like "Flow Dan" but can't really find his material.
Oh Yeah S.A.S. are messy and "Ill Millz" must be clased as a rapper surley, have you heard him?
On "Lord Of The Mic 2" he savages "Craze-24" its probabally the best material I have heard from England but I don't/can't really find stuff as I said before.
