scart cable question

my question is, can i use a ps1 scart cable for the ps2?

i'll try it, thanks. i'll give u feedback on what happened, hehe, gonna take some time tho cuz the guy i was gonna borrow it from just left for 2 weeks vacation, and everyone i know who used to have a ps2 sold it......damn :(
