Most Americans have health insurance, and they think that means they're covered. But this documentary is here to ruin your day.

When you finish watching it, you'll understand what a massive scam the insurance industry really is and how your future is in their hands. In other words, it's more terrifying than any horror movie and the most important American film of 2007.

From the man that bought you Bowling For Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11... Micheal Moore delivers another expose', this time from the Health Care industry in the world's leading economy, The U.S.A.

Give it a watch and leave your feed back, its 2 hours long but if you think about it half of ya'll be on the computer watching porn and talking to underage girls on myspace for longer than 2 hours.

Knowledge is power.

So what if you had a disease and your health insurance said they wont cover the surgery for you just so their company can save money? What happens if they pay for your medical care and then later draw it back because of some small illness you had before you became a member, now you have to pay and you can't?

Man see the movie before you comment on anything because you sound really stupid. You must be reading Rush Limbaugh books or some shit!

yes movies sway my opinions...lmao.

anyway when the private sector handles shit like this its much better than the gov doing it. they cant even get medicare right and look how long thats been around, social securtiy is another great example. when the gov interferes it makes it all worse than before trust that. im not saying the private comapnies arent fucked up themselves, but i think they do a better job than the feds, and so what that they want to save money. thats capitalism and welcome to america son.

Yeah, you sound just like someone who loves the status quo.

I would love to see you go broke off your medical bills and get sent to some run down hospital that refuses to treat you because you're poor.

Then when you're curbside coughing up blood you can preach on about how good the health care system is.

Good job on letting Republican fear tactics dictate how you view the world.

Our taxes are mad low in comparison to the rest of the world, so aussie thinks we shouldn't bitch about outrageous hikes on medicine doctors and hospitals.

if you want the government to protect your, give them the money to do so.

if you dont want to give them money, dont expect them to do anything for you.

privatise healthcare and education etc. and expect them to function as businesses.

helpful tips for you hard done by americans.

When i went to see a psychiatrist, i got a bill in the mail saying i owed money when i have medical insurance from my job so i didn't have to pay them anything. I had to call the psychiatrist's office several times to let them know i have medical insurance. So the psychiatrist's office told me once they called my medical insurance company that i didn't owe them any money. I said to myself, ya'll dumb asses should've known that when i told you i had medical insurance. I don't like how there's lots of poor people who don't have health insurance. That's sad. Doctors are too expensive and that's why they have these expensive houses and expensive cars because they make so much money taking advantage of people who don't know about healthcare. A doctor can tell you anything and you'll believe it just because he or she is a doctor. Dentists are expensive too. My dad told me he got a bill from a dentist for $4,000 and my dad said the dentist still didn't fix the problem that my dad had with his teeth. I'm gonna check out Michael Moore's Sicko documentary movie because i wanna see why healthcare companies are so sheisty.

Yes but the question is why are we allowing health insurance companies to dictate the quality of care? The point of the movie is that it's not in a private company's best interests to provide speedy, high quality care to everyone who needs it. And now that health insurance is compulsory (at least in MA), it's become like the car insurance companies. We HAVE to buy their product, so they can run their business however they want.

And since the government has intervened in so many ways to benefit the health insurance companies, why not have it intervene on our behalf for once? Is it just fear of socialism, or do you really think it's moral to allow an enormous monopolizing industry to determine our healthcare?

private companies.

So how is private insurance helping with a hospital wont even accept you if you don't have any. There was a gurl having a baby and the hospital wouldn't accept her because she didn't have insurance.

Who says the government will be in charge of health care? Doctors have to call the damn insurance provider before they can even help someone out.

Check out the movie and then get back at me.

best dog eat dog film yet, i knew about the situation in U.S.A. but never believed they would (for example) send a sick person, from a hospital, to a homeless shelter. c.r.e.a.m. is an understatement in this issue.

anyone here been fuct over by the usa's medical proceedures ? i have had numerous stiches, dislocated bones and other injuries that have been atented to without a cost and now am looking at it as a blessing.

it goes to show what it takes for a country to become the world power.

fuck america, i love australia.
