I love socially conscious rap but I'm sick of hearing:
* 5%er shit- I can only hear about power ciphers and gods representing so much before it just gets annoying
* Preachiness (hating on mainstream rappers, talking about how bad ignorant blacks and racist white people are.)
* Fake gangsterisms- I got love for my people in the struggle but Jesus Christ the thug thing is starting to wear me down. It's a stereotype used against us.
And I'd like it if they were funny too.
I don't know if such an artist exists but I'm bored of this shit I've been listening to.
