Guys, i know SHIT about laptops haha. i'm good with computer software, but hardware's a gray area.
the fuck's a RAM anyway?
i'm going to university in september, parents wanna get me a laptop, so i need some help picking one up. i know the Macbook pro is like the best thing in the market right now, but i don't think i can dish out 2grand for a laptop.
i want somethin that'll have like 50gb of memory on the harddrive, so i can put all my music on there, but i don't want it to slow down. like my computer was really fast when i got it, but as soon as i put microsoft office on it, it slowed down a shitload. i think RAM is what makes the computer run fast, rightttttt??
i'm not sure what brands are the good ones though. i know there's dell, apple, sony, hp, toshiba i think too. obviously i don't want it to break, but it can't be too heavy either. mannn i know i sound picky, but i want a laptop that i won't haveta replace or upgrade for 5 years at least hahah.
you know, somethin that's kinda near the top of the line, but not the very top of the line. maybe around $1500?
