Honestly VASP sounds like a dope beat with a low pass on it. I'm not really vibin to the lo fi here especially with such a ill bassline but maybe that's what its supposed to sound like. VASP 2 on the other hand sounds right to me. Feelin that beat the slow groove of it is sick.
