What you think? I mean the beat and lyrics are so one point and blend so well. I cant think of any song that can top it.

yo sindrom-

dope joint no doubt, but to be the best song ever,
i think it has to have some more substance-

like 'welcome to the terrordome' 'fight the power'
'all that i got iz you' 'dopeman' etc etc-

peace-

Best song ever??? nah, but I did wild out like a 2 year old in a teddy bear factory when he did it in concert. It is prolly my favorite NaS song ever though.

that song is average, jus cuz he spit 1000 bars dont mean it make the song good

NaS' best song IMO is NY state of mind

evrythng is correct bout that track, from his intro to his verse
an the fact that it had no chorus makes it a unique peice 2

not the best hip-hop track ever...but it shows that Nas & Premo are like GZA & RZA

still hoping for that all-Premo-produced album :)

maybe to whoever started the topic it's your favorite hip hop song of all time. and a lot of us can see why you'd think that.

for me as well, it ranks pretty mother fucking high. three solid verses, perfect beat going with it and a cool nas flow.

Crooklyn Dodgers was the best Premo produced track IMO......

No. Lol at the thought of it tho.

By saying that means you have to put it over everything Wu has ever made. Nope, sorry.

its not the best song ever, its just nas flexing his lyrical virtuosity over a fire premo beat.
which is the kind of shit he should do more.

yup...I think he knows that he just never gets the chance... (his last two albums got no Premo beat whatsoever)
