I'm tellin y'all, you gotta go out and support Talib(and Killah Priest) and cop Eardrum!.....this shit is so dope.....
Much better than the Beautiful Struggle and Quality.....and I would say it's on par with Reflection Eternal and Blackstar......

Ill beats by Just Blaze, Kanye, Pete Rock has 2 bangerz on there(one where he flips this ill Aretha Franklin sample) and Madlib......

One of my problems with Kweli's past 2 albums was that the beat selection was subpar and his rhymes were simplified....well now they are back to that complex shit and the beats are pretty damn good.....

Hostile Gospel part 1(prod by just blaze) is my joint right now!!!

yup i bought it this morning and ordered killah priest's the offering. Ear Drum gets my vote for album of the year so far. I love everything about it. lyrics, beats, vibe. Been a great month for me. Common, Talib, and Killah Priest soon as it comes in.

i think killah priest did FAR more with his potential than talib did...thats not to say eardrum isnt good because it is....but i enjoy the offering more.

Maybe it was an import. I went into HMV and Virgin and they said September 3rd. All the websites say the same. There aren't really any independant CD stores near me where I could get it.

I don't think it's that great, it's alright in my opinion, but average, not outstanding.

ahhh yes, talib coming back to his old style, MOS should do the same thing.. IM VERY SATISFIED with this album, beats and the rhymes are on point, this album is a mixture between quality + eternal reflection + beautiful struggle, all combined together.. i was kinda hoping that this would be eternal reflection part 2, but its better than that.. COP IT

my fav song is easily Hostile Gospel Pt. 1 then In the Mood. That song with Jean Grae has an amazing beat. The Nature with JT is surprisingly good. I didn't expect Justin Timberlake to bring anything worth a damn but he was decent for what he is.

its really good. kanye west shocked me witha nice ass beat. but he dosent come close to madlib. madlib is way better then kanye west. after one listen the album is good. i probally dont like 2=3 tracks.

Yea, I think its much better than Beautiful Struggle and Quality and on par with Reflection Eternal and Blackstar....it kind of even is like a cross between all three....but the beats are much better on this album....

and like someone said, that Justin Timberlake track is surprisingly good.....as is the banger with KRS-One......

There really is no reason to not like this album if you don't listen to a lot of radio and watch a lot of BET and let that popular sound soak up in your brain. If u have no regionalbises u will like this album a whole lot and if u a new york fan (like me) you will love this album.

Interesting production and features. It seems that this album is also well marketed and likely be his highest selling album. I'm happy for his commercial success without giving up artist integrity.

This is a very, very dope album. Much better than either Quality or Beautiful Struggle. Glad to see Talib come back strong on this project cuz I wasn't really expecting it.

''Ill beats by Just Blaze, Kanye, Pete Rock has 2 bangerz on there(one where he flips this ill Aretha Franklin sample) and Madlib......''

Just to clarify, the "Holy Moly" joint produced by Pete Rock isn't an Aretha Franklin sample, it's an Elton John sample. Very, very ill though. And to whoever asked, there is one Hi-Tek track on the album as well.
