you def represent the typical grunge sig style sean. thats ok but try to be versatile. colors start to get boring. try different effects. get rid of too much brush work. explore smudging. oh and work on your borders.

borders: the CL Smooth one is one of the few borders where you don't use the 1px black border. be creative with it, blur them etc. there are so many ways

This has a lot of potential...you see how their arms are...you could put a Wu-Tang "W"
Like a ghost "W" behind them so Mef's arm is in the left side
And Red's is in the right side of it ?
Or is it possible to arch there arms a touch ?
I think that would be dope...
Or even better you seen the "Phoenix W" like in the Cuban Linx Booklet ?
That would be perfect to have that in the middle of them.

I just thought cream was the illest instrumental to use cause it's really distinctive and one of their biggest and best tracks imo. I'll try a few others, this is still just a prototype design. ^ lol thanks again. I get the colours with a mixture of gradient maps, it ends up giving it that sort of glowing effect. I made the colours similar to the Masikah cover because I made it for him to use. It did take quite a few tries and different combinations to get it right though

the sig needs to have ODB on there. try to do the same with ODB as you did with Sean, make it a part of the splatter, let it flow with the brush.

gaussian blur "pneumatic" 1 px
use the blur tool for "Chamber"

now press shift + ctrl + alt + E. once again gaussian blur (5-8px) and set it to hard light. erase the parts you don't like with a big soft brush (50px).

I like simple text, imo the text doesn't need to be big and attention grabbing to look good. All the examples you just gave of what you like wouldn't go well on this sig.
