While we struggle to implement truth in our days
wrong interpretations caused people to stray
Thinking religion was about being important or special
masking up their perception of some higher level
Comparing their physical attributes, they show off
but the truth, that's the cliff they were thrown off
It was a cold day for those that misgrasped the ways of earth
when the gospel was heard
They thought this explanation of facts was absurd
There was no similarity
the illusions in their minds hold up a false sense of clarity
