great fucking songwriter. i started out hearing him on live performances, his albums don't compare to the magic he can create on stage. if you like good lyrics, there's a good chance you'll like neil young.

Long Road Out Of Eden is a great album.

Haven't heard the new Neil Young tho'...Harvest is a classic album

Picked this one up last week, pretty great album. One song on there, Ordinary People, is a real stand out. Like 18 minutes long, it's fucking great.

After The Gold Rush was a classic. Haven't heard that much by him though (got the Buffalo Springfield albums though). Would guess there are some older classics I'd be best off picking up first.

On The Beach is a must hear, classic album. Tonights The Night is brilliant too. Rust Never Sleeps is meant to be amazing too, but I don't have that.
