In an effort to curb the rampant bootlegging of American Gangster, RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan urged fans to head to the movies. During an appearance on Chicago's Power 92 RZA said that while he understands piracy is "a part of how the 'hood operates," it is still crucial for fans to support the film's official theatrical release.

I just found out that RZA was in this movie a few days ago. I thought only Common and TI were in it? Didn't really have any intentions on going to see this movie. Although i like Common and Denzel the previews just didn't grab me enough to wanna go see it. And i hate bootlegs with a passion, so thatz a NO! I think i might wait for it to hit the $2 theater. Doesn't look like it will be as good as Derailed.
