Nov. 17-18 - Fighting Racism and War - For a Socialist Future

Dear Activist,

On behalf of the Workers World Party Conference Invitations Committee,

We would like to extend an invitation to you to attend the upcoming

Workers World Conference, November 17 and 18, 2007 in New York City.

The Theme of the Conference is “FIGHTING RACISM & WAR – FOR A SOCIALIST FUTURE”.

If You Believe That …

* World events are making you angrier and more radical with each passing outrage

* The rise in racism from Jena La., to the attacks on immigrant workers are dangers that should unite and bring people into the streets

* We must not rely on the Democratic Party presidential candidates to stop the war and defend the people against capitalist greed

* Activists must be connected to the struggle of real people, and that the need for solidarity is more crucial than ever

* It’s time for working and poor people to unite – worldwide – and speak and act in their own interests, through their own organizations

* Activists should share experiences with others who are involved in the struggle against endless war, as well as racism, poverty and oppression right here in the U.S., and plan for the next year of struggle

* As good as Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, BlackBerries and cyber-space are--to make the revolution you have to get away from the computer and meet people face to face

* True and lasting equality, peace, social and economic justice, dignity and freedom are incompatible with capitalism and imperialism

... then we hope that you will put the WW Conference on your calendar.

There will be informed speakers, workshops, and revolutionary culture (music).

To register for the conference, or for more information, go to www.workersworld.net or call 212-627-2994.

We hope to see you at the conference,

In peace and struggle,
