You get stuck out in the middle of nowhere and you only get three albums to listen to.

What are they?

Heres mine?

1) Pink Floyd _ Dark Side Of the Moon

2 ) Nine Inch Nails_ Downward Spiral

3) GFK_ Supreme Clientele

GZA - Liquid Swords
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Paul Simon - Gracelands

But then again, maybe (for obvious reasons):

Wu-Tang - Forever
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Bob Dylan - Blonde On Blonde

Or maybe American Hunger, given the 3 discs!

Other honorable mentions:

Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
Wu-Tang Clan - 36 Chambers
Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx
Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
Travelling Wilburys - Volume.1
Carter USM - 101 Damnations
The Clash - London Calling
Portishead - Dummy
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin
Bob Dylan - Bringing It All Back Home
Robert Johnson - King Of Delta Blues Vol.1
Otis Redding - Otis Blue
Bruce Sprinsteen - Born In The USA
Johnny Cash - Live At Folsom Prison
Levellers - A Weapon Called the Word

4 years out not same difference

11-16-2007, 08:49 AM
But it's still that pretty daft young age.

Thing is, my three choices will still be there or thereabouts for me in 10-20 years. I guarantee your tastes will change massively over the next 10 years.

So your da prophet now

If I'd pick the albums you picked I'd be bored as hell in the middle of nowhere but hey it's your choice and opinions differ

So your da prophet now

You're right, not everyone grows up and matures.

Yeah everyone does have their own choices and opinions

I'm not having a go, I just don't know anyone that would have answered that question the same when they were 16 as they would have at say 26. Usually people's taste broadens and I would imagine there's a good chance you wouldn't take three hip-hop albums to listen to for the rest of your days.

If I responded to this when I was 16 it woulda been dope shit back then too cuz I was cultured in the arts at a young age.

d12 world is a hell of an album to be stuck with when you only get 3 though. One time my wife had bought some albums on her own with a few friends and it was the time when D12 world came out and low and behold I get home and find a copy of that shit in our cd rack. smh...

I listened to it once though. I only enjoyed a few tracks at the end and even they was pushin it when it got to the end of the track.

to each they own though....

Funkadelic - Maggot Brain
John Coltrane - A Love Supreme
Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the 36 Chambers

I might switch the John Coltrane for Miles Davis - Kind of Blue. Either of those two.

Wow...switch Funkadelic to Pantera's Far Beyond Driven and that was my list!

Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx
Sade - Greatest Hits (it had to be a sade album, and i couldn't narrow it down to one)
Kanye West - MBDTF

My reason for these choices is that i have already rinsed the fuck out of these and not got bored of them.

This is fucking tough
36 Chambers
Static Age
Kind of Blue

1) Forever - Wu-Tang

2) NOLA - Down

3) Legend - Bob Marley

09-07-2012, 05:56 AM
Damn this is a tough question...

Depending on my mood...

1. Wu-Tang Clan - Wu-Tang Forever
2. The Churchills - The Churchills (dope as fuck 60's psych band from Israel)
3. The Beatles - Revolver

But that could quite easily change to...

1. The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
2. Johnny Cash - American Recordings
3. Muggs/Sick Jacken - Legend Of The Mask & The Assassin

Dammit I can't decide!!
