I just saw this video and I want to know more. Shit is kinda crazy!

Reminds me of M.I.A. but maybe a bit more fucked up.

They're not like M.I.A. to me but they are fucking crazy. Their best album is Silent Shout but they've got 2 others and a soundtrack worth checking out.

If you like them, check out the other artist on their record label, Jenny Wilson. She makes great quirky pop, it's less weird than The Knife's stuff but it's really well written and performed

Yeah, the other tracks they got on Youtube are pretty cool. Some are kinda wack though lol

The Knife are pretty awesome.

Jenny Wilson is good also.

Thought I'd bump this thread. Since I made it i got REALLY into these guys and now the female half of the group has a solo album out under the name Fever Ray. lol Looking back, I cant believe i compared them to MIA. Anyways, if you're a fan of some of the more downbeat stuff on Silent Shout the Fever Ray album is right up your alley.

Haven't been able to get into Fever Ray really.

I like a couple of tracks though.

The one you posted is nice, i might check out the album.

I have Silent Shout, and I used to have the album as my avatar. I'll have to check out that solo album from the female part of the group. So the solo album has some darkness to it?

Its pretty much all the darkest shit from Silent Shout stretched across the albums 10 tracks. I guess olof was the one behind all their upbeat stuff. Its really good though.

very good... especially when the brother doesn't sing... having said that, their bad tracks are trully awful haha...

if you're just getting into them, don't pick up deep cuts until you get the knife or silent shout... there are tracks on that album which will make your ears cry...
