haha yeah that what I said to my bro when I watched Robocop a few months back, pretty damn bloody indeed for an action flick. I like when the office guy gets shot up by that big fucking robot thing, well done imo. Maybe that was from part 2? idk.

I've been watching old Dirty Harry movies recently like Magnum Force, The Dead Pool and Sudden Impact. Also watched Pathfinder... stay away from that pile of shit.

Not to diss you, but do you have a sleeping disorder of some kind? The reason I ask is that I've never heard anyone say anything remotely bad about the film (from movie buffs, to just the casual movie going crowd). Personally, I think the movie is brilliant, very very original, some of the best dialog in recent Hollywood films, and has a couple shockingly tight action scenes (and it's not even an action film).

To answer your question, no I don't have a sleeping disorder, I just found the movie very long winded and boring. As for the movie buffs (which I consider myself to be) they also found The Usual Suspects to be a great film, I didn't. The point im trying to make is that even serious movie lovers don't enjoy movies that are generally highly regarded, it's called having your own opinion.

"Donnie Brasco" Watched it monday, I was pretty impressed by it. I kinda hated the ending, but it was imminent.Al Pacino and Johnny Depp were so perfect as a team.

"Once Upon A Time In America"- Wow,I started it late last night, and had to finish it this afternoon. It is dark,a little vulgar, dramatic, and pretty moving, all at once. The acting could not have been better. Just not your average gangster movie, a very unique type of one. Despite being 3 hours and 45 mins.,some things are unexplained. The effects seemed to vary, sometimes it looked realistic, and a few parts it looked lame. The raping was a bit to much,It just doesn't leave out any details, which you could say makes it pretty realistic. Definitely a mind fuck, any movie fan needs to see this once. Just what happened to James Woods?

I've been watching alot of Scorsese, and alot of De Niro.

I just recently saw (for the first time):

Taxi Driver (one of the best films Ive ever seen, De Niros greatest performance)
The Deer Hunter (I know its not Scorsese, Walken is amazing in this, as is De Niro)
Mean Streets

I also watched Goodfellas today on tv (half of it atleast.. but Ive seen that movie like 50 times already.. its my favourite :)

I also watched Raging Bull just last week (seen that one a bunch too)

Taxi Driver is already my 2nd fav movie.. and Mean Streets and Deer Hunter are also now in my favourites.

The Deer Hunter is an amazing film. Not sure I ever wanna see it again as it's so depressing, but a sublime film all the same.

If you like that, I recommend Salvador. It's another perfect film, that is so depressing you won't wanna watch it again even though you'll think it's brilliant. As it's based on a true story, you can't even say "It's only a film" and make it all better!

Agree totally! I don't really care for Scarface myself, seen it twice,no need to buy it.I bought "Carlito's Way" about 2 weeks ago, love Pacino's acting, and the action and drama is fantastic as well. I just don't much like the ending, not for the simple harsh reality factor, but when Blanco kills him its cheesy how he just shoots Guzman, and what the fuck, the cops don't see Blanco? I just finished "Raging Bull", powerful acting performances, just hard to watch Deniro, he is very selfish and so paranoid about his wife.

- eastern promises - its alright, the only exciting thing is when the main character beats the shit out of 2 hit man while naked, wasn't that pleasant to see, but that was the only dope part.

- Mr. Death - about the cat who fixed electrical chairs and claimed that the holocaust was false after he went to Auschwitz and got evidence and had it tested, turned out it was negative to have gas in the walls of the gas chambers.

- no mans land - about 2 soldiers from Bosnia and Serbia who get trapped in a trench while one of the soldiers friend is laying on a mine.

Stuck in our bungalow in Thailand during a couple of days of torrential rain (and my mates all being comepletly broke) I watched the entire third season of Lost! We could only watch dvds and only had Lost and Superbad which we'd already watched. The dodgy Thai pirate had downloaded episodes all edited together, so it was just like two giant episodes covering the whole season on two discs!

Wandering outside afterwards onto the beach in this deserted tropical paradise, I was half expecting to bump into a polar bear or some smoke monster!

anime about a kid who goes from being picked on at school to featherweight world champ.
great boxing series. very informative in terms of boxing technique, not alot of filler its training then match ,training then match, then comedy then training... the 1st 20 eps covers over a years time.

each ep centers around a technique or boxing style.

the main char ippo is like tyson, short but has a powerful punch, so his coach taught him the tyson peekaboo stance to fight with.

see all 72 eps on www.crunchyroll.com - the biggest anime selection on line.

I first watched it when I was about 13, and was bored without loads of brutal violence (Saving Private Ryan), but watching it last week, I looked at it with a whole new perspective. It has a fir amount of action, and definitely is a war movie, but I would consider it a character study and a drama more so. I love this movie now, amazing score by Hans Zimmer, beautiful and captivating cinematography, and one can not say enough about the cast.

the hugging bit in the club was probably the best bit of film/tv I've ever seen. It was so well done.

Its definetly a well directed show, but i'm just not convinced by the overall tone of the show and the storylines. It just seems like sensationalism for sensationalisms sake. Its like a bunch of friends that have all this exciting stuff going on in their lives. My teenage years were not like that and I can't relate to all this crazy stuff. People that different would never be friends in real life. But hey maybe if I'd had a plethora of different friends (Black, Female, Muslim, Gay etc) at high school and a bunch of parties to go to I might feel different about the show.

Anyways my most recently watched flick is Junebug, which is real slice of Southern American life brilliantly acted and knowledgeably directed. The main themes are family dynamics and change and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

we were soldiers- GREAT WAR MOVIE, the whole action scenes in this movie are just amazing, this movie tops the charts for "war movies," no doubt

i robot - yeah its cooling

The dreamers - this movie is on some next shit, 2 twins (1 girl 1 boy) play sexual games with eachother along with an american kid in 1970 France

Hostage - with bruce willis, the movie was ok, too much stupid things involved in the movie which was unecessary like the kid who throws molotov cocktails which basically ends the movie and the shit that pissed me off the most, they never showed who the bad guy was, this movie was OK ONLY

Raging bull - i have heard many reviews of this movie, i finally got to watch it and wasnt that "awed" by it, it was a decent movie in my opinion, the only thing i thought was great was scorceses' production and thats it, it had nothing to do with the actual story of the movie

Yeah its good, its got loads of famous people in it, Micky Rooney etc

heres the plot...
"Somewhere in the desert. A car speeds like crazy along the roads. Suddenly, the driver loses control and sails off a cliff. Four other vehicles are near, they stop to help. The dying man narrates the drivers of a fortune in cash, $350,000, which he has hidden below a giant "W" in Santa Rosita, some 200 miles away. The four drivers and their respective passengers can't decide on how to share the future fortune, and suddenly a wild race to Santa Rosita develops. While one party manages to rent a plane (from 1916), the others face different problems like tire damage, untrustworthy lifts, deep water, drunken millionaires, a British adventurer, little girl's bicycles, and last but far not least a mother-in-law from hell and her imbecile son. While the folks slowly travel towards the goal, they are being watched. Who ever said that nobody else knew about the fortune"

What did you think about it?

Well a friend of mine loaned it to me because he rates the director Tony Scott, but also because the script was written by Tarantino.

Personally I didn't think much of it, maybe it was because I built it up too much in my head that it couldn't live up to my expectation. Like I would expect from a Tarantino script it had some great dialogue, especially the scene between christopher walken and dennis hopper. It was a decent film but the story wasn't all that. What was sick though was seeing all those huge stars that at that time wern't that famous in small roles.

Recently watched Hitman and Beowolf. Hitman was a much better action film than I was expecting (my wife even watched it a second time the day after we saw it together, much to my surprise). This is probably my favorite video game to film (I might slightly prefer it over Silent Hill, which I also really enjoyed).

Beowolf was excellent. Loved the look and feel, enjoyed the storyline, and it gave me a few quotables to walk away with. Beware of fine pussy...that's a powerful message.

The Illuminati Volume I

Marcus Allen of Nexus Magazine describes The Illuminati DVD as "Mind Blowing!" - and it is. The entire p[olitical system of the United States and Britain is being controlled by a small group of elite occultists who have all sworn allegiance to the All Seeing Eye of Lucifer. For more than two centuries, the aristocracy of Britain and America have been involved in Satanic Secret Societies which have seeded all the major positions of power in Politics, the Media and the Military.

THE ILLUMINATI draws on historical records, footage and photos which take the viewer on a voyage of discovery - it starts with the JFK assassination, through the dark depths of the two Gulf 'Wars', and brings you bang up to date with details of how members of the SKULL & BONES secret society engineered the 2000 and the 2004 U.S. Presidential Elections.

THE ILLUMINATI takes you deep into the forests of Northern California with secretly filmed footage courtesy of ALEX JONES, exposing the Bohemian Club's annual rituals and mock sacrifices - ceremonies which have been attended for years by U.S. Presidents, Vice-Presidents and CEO's from the world's largest corporations.

THE ILLUMINATI journeys to TIBET where China - the nation which George Bush describes as 'America'a Most Favoured Nation' are routinely beating and torturing innocent Tibetan monks.

We expose how senior members of the British Royal Family were members of HITLER's SS.

We then voyage deep into the heart of Westminster and expose the fact that Freemasonic temples exist within the House of Commons and that the Queen of England is Grand Patronness of International World Freemasonry.

THE ILLUMINATI exposes the links between ALEISTER CROWLEY, Freemasonry, the Royal Family of Great Britain and asks if TONY BLAIR is a Freemason.

We then expose how the SKULL & BONES society at Yale University conducts it's rituals with secretly filmed footage from inside the 'TOMB'.

THE ILLUMINATI DVD is a feature length documentary which runs for nearly TWO HOURS.

The New York Gazette said:"The Illuminati DVD is... an explosive exposure of the British Royal Family’s ties to Nazism, Black Magic & Zionist, Quabalistic Secret Societies. Quite astounding!"
