Yeah, I remember just a few weeks ago Ballistic did the same and made a thread about himself sleeping on them...but that was mainly Blackmoon.

Many of us are sleeping on albums that we would really enjoy but haven't found them yet.

Man I'm from the era of Duckdown vs. Wu-Tang Clan...that was one of Hip Hop's finest hour

I admit that I slept on Bootcamp for a long time. I suppose in the earlier years before the internet all we really had (in the uk) was rags like the Source which I didn't get with any form of regularity.

the need to get back with beatminerz again!
they made the early albums classic.
recent bcc albums gone all souled out, which i couldnt ever get into.

Boot Camp Clik is the fuckin shit. i slept on them hard till about 8 years ago and haven't looked back since. I could kill for that Fab 5 album to be released. Boot Camp Clik, Wu-Tang, D.I.T.C. are the big 3.............

12-30-2007, 02:56 PM
i love the way buckshot flows

A to Z-- I think the Beatminerz fell off, sadly but... BUT-- there might be hope. Get a hold of the Beatminerz remix of Buckshot/9th Wonder, it's called "Alter The Chemistry" & very good.

to me, BCC is by far the best Brooklyn crew & man for man, I like 'em almost as much as the Wu, tho' they don't have anyone who's a madman like Dirty, a stone genius like RZA or as experimental as Ghost (pre-"Big Doe Rehab" by the #s).

i can't believe anyone could prefer Jay-Z (or Talib, or Common) over this--

or this

(except that all those dudes are advertised endlessly, over & over & over & over again, esp. the loathesome fake Brooklyn asshole, Shawn Carter.)
