Excellent rap/beat crew. Who knows why were they so frequently shouted out by Tribe and KRS :spin:

My favorite on the mic is, by the way, Al Tariq aka Kool Fashion

I lived in France for like 7 months and that was all they played. I think they did a song with Big Pun which I'm not gonna deny was a good track.
But 7 months of replaying that shit.
I think since the frogs didn't understand the words they don't understand that repetition kills some songs

yeah i think you are right, but searched for native tongues and beatnuts and this came up on wikipedia. i just thought they were since they produced an entire album for chi-ali.

beatnuts:

"The Beatnuts are a hip hop (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hip_hop_music) group from Queens (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queens), New York City (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_City). The members are Ju-Ju (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ju-Ju&action=edit) (Jerry Tineo), of Dominican (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominican_Republic) descent, and Psycho Les (Lester Fernandez), of Colombian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colombia) descent. Ju-Ju is from Jackson Heights (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackson_Heights) and Psycho Les (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psycho_Les) is from Corona, Queens (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corona%2C_Queens). The only Latino (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latino) members of the Native Tongues Family (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Native_Tongues_Family), they have had long-standing involvement with the crew's activities. Although only peripheral members, they are routinely acknowledged as valued by Q-Tip (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q-Tip_%28rapper%29), who has shouted them out (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shout-out) at least twice on record (once in 1991 and once in 1996)." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beatnuts
