Copped this USB/MIDI interface since I don't have any midi hook ups for my Mac & laptop. Using the MPC 2500 right now as a controller w/ Reason 4.0

pRoTeChTyAnEcK, check out the Novation SL keyboard controller series also. If you use one MIDI'd with Reason you've got MUCH more control than an MPC can offer over all the faders, knobs and parameters of Reason's modules. Try one out if you see it displayed as a demo in a store.

I actually own an M-Audio Oxygen 25 & a Yamaha PSR-500(55 keys), so am pretty set with a couple midi keyboards. Don't really need to control any effects with the MPC since I can switch back to the Oxygen for all that on the preferences menu in Reason.

Get it. For $100 it's well worth it. Especially if your using MIDI and some descent monitors.
