this has to be the greatest P Funk album George produced....jesus christ, i slept on this album, and after hearing it over, and over, and over....i cant imagine why...eloels.

its like R&B being raped by a funky, Psychadelic robot...eloels
it has the most fullness, flow, and continuity ive heard in an album in sooo long...sick guitar, witty lyrics, soulful ass vocals, grreeaat bass and atmosphere...(appropriate considering atmosphere is one of the tracks names...last track)
plus..they call out all the major funk bands of the 70's, "Slick and the Family Brick" ELOELS!!!
basically, its in this section as opposed to the album review section, because being as slept on as it is already, i couldn risk having u guys not hear about it...HEAR IT NOW...SHIT, GOD DAMN, GET OFF YO ASS AND JAM!!!and remember...
No Head, No Backstage pass!!!
figures, there like 16 Drum and Bass threads, but this one is overlooked..its ok, it was expected.

It's a shame that everyone's overlooking this thread. The album is great. Downloaded it a few days ago.

i've got nothing against funk and if i was listening to more of it i'd be blasting mr. clinton's records, but i don't like it enough to start getting albums.
I just happened 2 scroll down & check this forum by accident, & glory b look what i've stumbled across
LTI2S is a dope album. Any time u have Eddie Hazel, Micheal Hampton, Gary Shider, Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrel, & Tiki Fullwood playing on one album what else could the shit be but dope
Whats really crazy is that Parliament came with Mothership Connection the same year. 2 dope funk albums that sound completely different by the same crew
the f mob was in effect here
Koolish your a herb 4 not diving into the pfunk catalog. There has never been a sicker line up of musicians working 2gether in any genre such as the mob did from 1970-1981
Dusk feel free 2 post any other mob albums u feeling
yea man, but im glad u guys like this one...the guitars are awesome..and Be My Beach is so RnB
I never understood y the bass was so low on Beach since Bootsy wrote it.
eloels^^ my version sounds awesome with the bass...first thing u hear...idk.
they must have remastered that shit recently
up it
cant, its part of the scratched portion of my CD...sorry...jus dl it..
I've had that cd for over 10years. the bass is down lo compared to Parliament & Rubber Band tracks

& scratchs on cds dont transfer when u rip them 2 your computer
...if u DL'ed the cd, pm me the link u got it from
hmm...idk y but mines dont sound like that....maybe cuz i changed the preset for its sound on my ipod....but yea it has less bass then the other tracks..
Yeah this has got to be the second best Funkadelic album right after 'Maggot Brain'. Until recently I too had been sleeping, I've been steadily building my P-Funk CD collection over the years, theres so much stuff they did out there its tough trying to make mental space for it all, but this is definetly one of the best. This album should convert people to the P way of thinking.
Maggot Brain is massive as well, super stupid and hit it and quit it....sick
