if i do buy it, it will be for PS3. hows online and the actual game?

the online is pretty cool, ur drive around, and run into people online.

basically the way it works is, you make a room which is a session where u and who ever drive around the city, and u could decide to start a race, or u could just compete to see who gets the most like drag points ans trick points..its cool. The game is also similar.

my fav game for ps3 so far. but ive always been a big burnout fan. its fucking good. one of the best things about it is although tis such a good game you cant comeplete it in like 8 hours like alot of other good games out there. the races and road rage and stunt run gets boring after awhile as they \are all fairly the same but theres billboards to smash and gates to smash and super jumps to find and the online mode has shit loads of challenges to do when your freeroaming online you can also do races online too

so yeh buy it

the town is massive! its gunna take ages to remember all the streets and short-cuts, i can see myself playing this till GTA. then i will have to remember a whole new bunch of streets etc etc

I think I'll get GT5 Prologue instead. I'm not really into driving around endlessly. (If it's not racing).

I hope this game has cars. Fast ones.

03-13-2008, 04:33 PM

Burnout3 is way better, EA making them doing these new Burnouts, which sux, the quality is falling

03-29-2008, 03:25 AM
thats your opinion, this game is sick, more of a need for speed style heaps to do to. i like it heaps more than the others.

I hope u played Burnout3. The same is happening to NFS for years now...just the same and same games, just worse...the City is the only thing u can say wow too, but if u actually played other games, u would see its the same, just a lot of things are missing....it's still fast and fun, I know, but fuck it...look at NFS....the last real original NFS was the first Underground, Underground2 should be the first, but damn, it was just upgraded and somewhere downgraded... EA is always fucking up things.

Burnout3 10/10
Burnout2 9/10
Paradise 6,5/10

One thing I like about Burnout is that the series continues to evolve. Burnout 3: Takedown was a classic. Revenge was the truth too. Burnout Paradise is a bit different because it isn't on closed tracks, but it's a fun game. There's a lot to do in the world. Burnout 3 and Revenge are better racers, but Paradise is still good. I play it on 360 all the time.

I credit Burnout 3 with being the first racer I ever enjoyed, definitely a classic.

The Paradise demo pissed me off though, the implementation of an open city seemed just...off.
I want quick gratification out of Burnout, don't want to be driving around looking for races.

Plus making the car handling that bit more realistic made the game that bit more crappy.

^the demo does NOT reflect the game. check reviews, you get used to it fast. if you liked burnout 3, you will like BP.
