How can I have given out too much rep in the last 24 hours when I only gave one after the last time I got that message?

I think Rep Power is based on date of registration and number of posts, and the green bars are based on rep given to you by fellow Vaticaneers

The difference my friend being that the Points you have, are the accumulative total of all the rep you have received.

The amount which one may contribute to this accumulation is their Power.

For instance, Big Ben and I were to rep Rzarectum, his total points would increase by 55 (18 + 37).

The Rep blocks are related to your total Points, and bare no relation to Power.
