First I hear about a movie...

About the chick on "Cuando Te Vayas", that's Nyl. She isn't on Wu Tang Latino, and she burned her bridges with DJ Tito (at least for now, though he usually says one final "fuck you" and that's it). Not going to get into details, but let's just say that's a failed venture. (as far as I know)

The talk about the movie is on Rayroq myspace page located at the top underneath his picture

You're not serious are you? LOL! That's just his myspace poster! You don't see the "priceless" pic? That's not a real "MasterCard" commercial...(or is it Visa?)

No movies yet. But we are going to be presenting a video contest for "Mangani, Puneta" where Ipods will be given away with the "La Familia" album, 8 Diagrams, and other recent releases from Wu Tang and Wu Tang Latino affiliates.

No Wu Tang Latino artists were nominated this year, though Rameses has won a grammy for production on Daddy Yankee's "Barrio Fino" album which received several awards. We did not release anything official in 2007, and that's what the awards would have reflected- though personally I'd spit on a fuckin grammy if I was nominated, and I'd shove it up the announcers ass (last year, Toby Love- a fuckin Bachata artist- won for best Latin Hip Hop artist...)

One thing I was involved in that I know wasn't expected (because I didn't expect it myself) was the official remix for "You Can't Stop Me Now" by Rza (original featuring Inspectah Deck), Remix ft. Mangani.

I am performing at the 116th Festival in NYC this year on two different stages, so that should be an event that puts another notch on my belt:)

I'm also working with several "Wu" related (though not official affiliate) artists and their mixtapes... so keep an ear to the street cause most of it will be underground.

Right now I am holding a video contest for my track, "Mangani, Puneta!", so for 99c you can download that shit on iTunes, make a video, and submit it for a chance to win one of 5 iPods which will be loaded with the Wu Latino Presenta "La Familia" compilation, Digi Snacks, and Raekwon the Chef (as well as other exclusive Wu material from the Clan and WuLatino). If you visit my myspace you will also get information for more freebies, including ringtones, a free media card, etc. www.myspace.com/mangani

You can download my ringtone for free by texting WuLatino to 66937.

Visit www.dropcards.com/wulatino and use this code "XAZJPUUA4P" for free shit. Use it as much as you want, give it out, and tell all your friends to go get free shit!!!

RAYROQ?

He co-owned the hottest design/marketing firm in NYC, designing logos, images and marketing for Sony, Epic, Wu-tang, Rocawear, LL Cool J, Razorsharp Records, Wu-wear, Avirex, Disney, A&E, History Channel, Loud Records, SRC, Persaud Brothers, Source Magazine, Ave B marketing, Willie Esco, Champion, Durango, Sprite and Adidas, just to name a few. After helping to create trademarks and help start a few of the companies mentioned

I knew his background was extensive but A&E and History channel......

I don't know how true that is. I wouldn't believe half of the facts attributed to a man that should be making millions by his own word, but hasn't a penny in reality. He claims UBO as credit, but the label doesn't exist anymore... so... would you be proud? Also, his "marketing" and "design"... if you look at what he's selling on Zazzle they are these degrading T-Shirts that stereotype latinos- Boricua Hoodlum, Dominican Gangster, Mexican Hustler, Colombian Kingpin, etc.

Don't believe everything you read about Rayroq...

Wu Tang Latino no longer exists as an official label. It's basically a bunch of idiots playing with themselves trying to make a name off of a movement with very little momentum left. Certain Wu Tang figures had the opportunity to take control and make things happen, but they were undermined by greed and power moves within the label staff, as well as egos, commercialism, and opportunistic, uneducated has beens.

I don't know what's up with the website.

Right now I'm reading "Thank God for Evolution"

He speaks(audio)...RayRoq (http://www.hispanicmpr.com/2008/08/11/listen-to-podcast-interview-with-rayroq-acosta-ceo-wu-tang-latino-about-urban-latin-music/)

RayRoq is one of the most uneducated people you could get into a conversation with. Though UBO had success, it was mostly with ONE song- Reggaeton Latino, and it was by an already established artist- Don Omar... AND they went bankrupt. Sooo that should just let you know how good of a businessman he is. This interview was conducted by an uneducated lady, and the interviewee made Latinos look like fools. First thing I would have told her is that she can take the "hispanic" label and shove it up her ass.

I take note to Wu Tang Latino for a few reasons, to see it become the Def Jam for Latinos will be incredible

How do you contribute to Wu Tang Latino to eliminate problems and make sure it has a strong foundation

Wu Tang Latino is a non-existent label. I take pride in knowing that my departure led to the departure of other artists, and the eventual demise and de-masking of fakes within the organization. Def Jam for Latinos? That is some funny shit. Rayroq isn't worth the crap Russell Simmons steps in, so comparing his label to Def Jam is just craziness.
