that or get a blow job, smoke some weed, meditat for an hour, go hunting, or have a frendly fight with a buddy

the gym is my stress relief. i jus let it all out on the weights and on the punching bag. its really effective for me.

If you dont go to the gym much and you go it will fuck you up more....if you continue going then it wont do anything.

Practice your meditation techniques....for me it usually takes pressure off my head and upper back the best.

if you cant you might need a drink of alcohol....im not saying to chug a beer or take a shot of the hard stuff.....but just take your time and sip one of the finer brandys or scotches....thats what I do.

close your eyes an begin breathing deeply....
visualize the source of your stress.....
then visualize putting the source in a box....
close the box....
slowly inhale through your nose
as you slowly but forcefuily exhale (blow) visualize the box shrinking.
the box should shrink every time you blow out.

when the box is small enough to hold, start using your hands to compact the box
with every exhale smush the sides then the next exhale smush the top and bottom
when the box is about 2-3 inches take a really deep breath......


NOW CLAP YOUR HANDS TOGETHER REALLY HARD AS THE BOX VANISHES INTO A PUFF OF DUST.

it sounds silly but it really works.

when you get the hang of it, you won't even need the box. you can just shrink the source outright. but since that kind of imagery is out of the normal realm of reality the brain tends to reject the software you are trying to install.

visualization combined with controlled breathing is a very powerful technique.

Yeah I've been given this advice before...and it does help.

I would just say...
Find a quite place for yourself.
When ever I'm really stressed I go for a walk through the park
And sit in the same spot with a Joint.
It is so peaceful and still...I find it really changes my mood drastically !!
Or on the flipside I just start drawing...
The old saying of "Channeling Your Emotions"

Take it slow...
With everything you do...take your time.
Wheather it be drinking, smoking, eating...
What ever you are doing I find this helps.
Don't rush about going from thing to thing.
Give each activity it's deserved time.

I remember from a film I think...

"Learn To Just...Be"

I know that sounds weird but I can really relate to that.
You see the man in a suit & tie rushing around...
Taking tablets so he can carry on for a few more hours...

Id say deal with the issue that is making you stressed.

Of course i regularly involve myself in stressful situations unnecessarily and take as many short cuts to make things go away.

Cant always practice what you preach.

The answer is to step out of that world until your pain is alleviated. Try different surroundings until you feel better. Either a vacation, or an hour a day retreat where you can't be bothered are my suggestions.

it's seriously nearly impossible for me to get stressed...
I would suggest going and starting some shit for no good reason

I tried drinking at the bar last saturday until I couldn't remember things to see if I would wake up having done some incredibly stupid shit...but nah it didn't happen. just some minor silly shit.
no new lawsuits or anything.
