So what y'all know bout D-12?

I guess most of y'all know their albums Devil's Night (which I consider as a very dope album) and D-12 World ( not so good as Devil's Night but still better than average).

For me they're really dope MC's with Proof (RIP) and Eminem to be the best of 'em to spit on the mic, I might not know ALL MC's in Detroit but these two are sure one of the best MC's from Detroit and in the whole Hip-Hop game as well.
But plz do not let us forget Kuniva (give him a dope beat and he'll spit some hardcore lyrics yo) Swifty (same story as Kuniva), Kon Artis (one of the best voices in Hip-Hop) and then you got Bizarre... hehe naw for real sometimes (and not even that much) he's rappin' straight up bullshit but sometimes he got those verses that just punch you in ya face and you be laughin' yo ass of every time, but it's also his voice and the way he pronounces them words that'll make you laugh. His first EP (Attack of the Weirdo's) was good though and even won an award (Inner City Flava of the year '98 Award).

And before he was killed in a shooting on May 21st 1999 there was Bugz (RIP) I only know a couple of tracks where he raps, but those are some dope verses for real.

But I guess not everyone of y'all heard of their underground stuff they did during the 90's and believe me those are dope tracks, pure MC'ing just spittin' mad ill verses and dope beats etc.

Here a few of their underground tracks they did most of these tracks are from their Underground EP (end of the 90's ) :

D-12 - Derelict's Theme

D-12 - Chance to Advance

D-12 - Bring Our Boys

D-12 - 6 Reasons (Bugz raps on this one)

D-12 - Filthy

D-12 - Cock and Squeeze (Bugz raps on this one )

D-12 - Bad News

Swifty, Bizarre, Eminem and Fuzz - No Ones Iller (from the Slim Shady EP)

Here's Eminem and Kuniva in an MC battle in The Hip-Hop Shop in Detroit and Proof is the Battle organizer :

D12 is dope no doubt. Devil's Night is a classic, D12 World was pretty good too, although not on the same level. Alot of they're underground shit was good as well, cock and squeeze is my shit.

Yo, I listened to whole Underground EP and I gots to say it's straight dope. "Chance to Advance" is best IMO.

Kon Artis a.k.a. Denaun Porter is, I'd say, one of top 10 producers in the game right about now. Not to forget that. He always making dope beats, like "Good Die Young" or "We Some Dogs".

R.I.P. Bugz and Proof.

Yeah I love D-12..
I love quite a few "Groups" obviously "The Wu" but I really like listening to a group
Rather than a single Emcee.

I listen to thier 1st album a fair bit...
And recenty started listening to their more recent offering.
At school this was what I was listening to.

Eminem = Master emcee.
Bizarre = Off his rocker
Kon-Artis = Underated as an Emcee and a great producer
Kuniva = All his verses are venom
Swifty McVay = This guy is straight nasty on the mic

R.I.P. Bugz & Proof

As 11th Chamber said I hope their new mixtape is dope...
A new album...
Eminm's album...

D12 are brilliant, shame proof and bugz are dead, barr eminem they were far ahead of everyone else from what I heard.

Proof was always my favourite actually, and I hear he was quite a nice bloke.

I don't listen to D12, but I do appreciate what they do musically, maybe one day I'll look over to their CD's across the store and decide to listen to it one of these days...
