These guys are fucking great. Who else in Wu-Corp are fans of Slug & Ant?? If you haven't heard them before you should check these songs out:

One thing I like about them is that they are Hip-Hop you've never heard before, they are way different then most MC's and producers, and it seems they have more meaning in their songs then most artists tend to put in theirs.

Hip Hop I've never heard? Just about everyone on Def Jux and Rhymesayers is on that "Abstract/Different" tip, lol....Regardless Atmosphere are alright, not totally my thing, but Overcast! was pretty good, so was the Dynospectrum album. Haven't been feelin alot of their recent shit though.

Trying to find the balance and lovelife plays a lot here =)

They are not bad, tho I have to be in a certain mood to listen to their shit.

Lucy Ford is their best work. Yeah, there dope, but i gotta be in the mood. Not so keen on their new shit, tryna incorporate too many different elements

'The woman with the Tattoed Hands' is a methaphorical masterpiece, with one of THE most beautiful and infectious beats ive ever heard. It needs to heard to be believed.

'Nothing But Sunshine' is another fantastic track from 'Lucy Ford'.

I highlighted these too tracks, because when Atmosphere are on point, their fuckin unstoppable, but they've too much weird shit that doesnt sound so good.

I must admit you have me a little taken back by this one, pls ignore all my comments about you not listening to Hip Hop....even though I still do not like BG Knocc Out as an artist, I must admit I was wrong in my assumption of your choice of Hip Hop.....

oh and Atmosphere is a great duo.....

pick up their new LP it is nice.....

^ Don't worry about it. I respect any MC that has talent wether it be their strong lyrics, flow, delivery, etc. But they have to AT LEAST have some nice lyrics though. I will admit BGKO has a lack of variety in vocab in his lyrics, but the dude has one of the best flows, and you don't see to many great flows coming out of the west like that.

But about Atmosphere. They basically created that style of Hip-Hop, in a way, not saying they did ultimately, but they did it in their own way and they did it in a way that nobody was doing back in '96. And they have so many gems out there.

I just got into them this year when their new album came out but after I heard that I got all of their older shit. My favorite is the Lucy Ford album.
