Why is the price so low all of a sudden :? Is apple losing ground?

06-09-2008, 03:46 PM
no ..they sold 6 mill units of the old phone and want to sell over 10..the 200 $ will deff gfet them thier..and most of the tec is cheaper..as it is smaller and it has the same boards in as the old

but what makes them money is u have to get a 2 year contract with at&t

70$ month 500 mins free net unlimited tex

buyers were looking for lower prices

faster browsing

and they got it

they sold out all the old iphones 2 months ago

dumb ebayers were buy the old ones up for 500 to 600 $ lol

I think the biggest problems are still the offered 8GB/16GB, lifetime of the display (?) and a few small things (flash, mp3 ringtones, battery life).

I'll wait.

the storrige is fine as u get a web storge thyp deal calld mee or some shit witch u can thow up to 16 gb of music

so u can have 32 gb all togeather

life of battry aint to bad..thats only when ur in 3g u can talk on 2g and have 10 hrs of talk time
not sure if u can turn it on or off or what yet

mp3 ring tones would be dope but on itunes u can convert ur music to ringtons for the iphone

so it aint a real biggi

a flash drive would be dope

a removiable battry would be nice

a better camra
and abilty to take vid shots aswell would be nice

but shit 200 $ is what would make me get one

ima wait and see what blackberry bold will offer..then ill chose

06-18-2008, 08:06 AM
noooo...shit is so slo...i was playing with it at the mall..u have to hit the icons like 10 times befor it pops up..like i hit the cam icon on it ..it dosnt wornt it took me 6 time to get it up..shit is maddddd clitchy
and slow

also it will be more money for less

for the iphone its only going up 10$ for 3g
so its 30$ for web and other shit

wich is what every one els charges

Looks like the Samsung for me. My goal is to replace 4 boxes with one; PDA, ‘REAL’ GPS, reasonable camera (I’ll still have my real one, but it may be at home) and Cell Phone. The absence of a REAL PDA on the iPhone wipes it out, as does the 2 MP camera and ‘data’ based GPS (no use at all in the bush and out of Cell range and data is ridiculously expensive not to mention roaming charges when out of the country - useless). Also, if I start using MP3s, I imagine the iPhone will be tied into iTunes - no thank you. The iPhone does not even get ranked as anything but last.

Price, however, may make me wait a while before getting in.

Short wish list now. Just some optical zoom on the camera, but at least I can crop 5MP a bit.

im not a fanboy on any phone

but i have to say that the samsung is not worth it for us in the states

it will cost 100$ a month
for the phone

and the thing is u will have to charge the phone up 2 times aday
as talk time is only 3 hrs...
stand by is 10 hrs

the web acsess in the states will be bad...as it will be way slower then ipone on 2g
but in the uk it will be ok..not as fast as iphone 3g but it will be up their...

forr 100$ month ..that is just wrong for us in the states

here is a vid

now look how meny time he has to hit the shit to get some thing to work

alot of review sites say it has bad ui
user interface
this vid shows u need to hit the buttens a 100 times befor it works

over all the phone is a good idea..just needs alot of work done to it

if web is going to be realllllly slow here in the states,...then over all this is a rip off for 100$ a month for us

the phone is going to be
around 500$ ..so ive heard

if i had to take a iphone or this it would be the iphone
as its ui is alot smother..and faster..web browsing in the states will be 100 x better

its cheapr to buy and cheapr to own per month

better battery life

camra is not as good
as the samsung

i think that is the only down side

06-18-2008, 09:32 AM
as for roeming charges i havnt heard any thin on that ..my dad has the firts iphone and he travels..and talks alot on it and has never had been charged for it

and for navigation yes it only comes with the gps...but tom tom as made a app for turn by turn navigation REAL gps

but who is gonna use it

it will wipe the ipone battry out in 2 or less hours

with the samsungs battrey life ..smaller... it will be 1 hour or less

no matter what both phons have bad battery life

07-02-2008, 10:54 PM

07-03-2008, 01:57 PM
