View Full Version : Be a man!

How do you feel about a woman taking care of a man? How do you feel about a man laying up not doing a damn thing? I often see women taking care of men financially and sexually. I feel like the role has been switched. Men don't want to be men anymore. They rather go out shopping for Air Forces and white t-shirts, listen to rap, joy ride, sex, drugs, etc. I'm having a hard time understanding why women do this to themselfs. What's wrong with a man who has something going for himself? What's wrong with a man who doesn't dress like a complete idiot? What's wrong with a man who doesn't do drugs? Where's the respect?

WTF? Women who have BA's degrees dating men who don't even have a high school diploma, and no job! A freaking bum. The bible says "If a man doesn't work, he shouldn't eat". I agree.

Discuss.

Its a new age and time, son! Women want to be independent. And if the guy knows how to break her off, she gonna let him hang around for a while.

ESPECIALLY if he knows how to break her off!

I don't have a problem with women that want to be independent. Actually that's a very good thing. I'm talking about men who leech off of women. A REAL man doesn't leech. A real man doesn't lay up not doing nothing. A real man works and provides.

What do you mean by "breaking off"?

I firmly believe that a man should take care of his woman. no matter what situation he is in. a real man is one that takes care of his fam.

but if women are ok with men being bums. then so be it, i highly doubt theres alot of women who are willing to look after men.

Thats pretty much it. As long as you try to care for ya seeds, if the woman is making bread like Oprah, you can live off her lands like Oprah's man do.

Is this a statement on financials? How does this apply if she makes $500,000 a year and you have no degree?

HANZO

well yeah its about financials. i dnt think it matters if she earning 500k a year. the man, even if he dont have a degree, he should atleast make a contribution. instead of totally depending on the woman.

a man should make the woman his with feel that she is in good hands.

I'll agree with you here. But contribution is such a general term.
How should he contribute if she makes 500k and he earns 25k?

a man should make the woman his with feel that she is in good hands.
I'll agree here. But this is more of an emotional perception on the woman's part.

i remember watching this video about Greece (or somewhere around there) back in high school, and you see this motherfucker who owned a farm just sitting looking at his field and all you see is his woman pulling this gigantic plow.

that's not being a fucking man.

The definition of being a man and being a women have changed over time and are different in other cultures.

Who makes more money than the other should not be a concern nor the foundation of the relationship, but both should pitch in.

only person making sence in here, in a relationship the only thing that matters is the love, i know it sounds preachy and gay BUT think about it. My newest shortie makes more than me (at the moment). She also comes from a richer background so she has alot of support from family etc. im still making money but she is basicly the "bread winner" the thing is we are gonnago dutch in everything (half n half) and i know alot of ya'll think spending all ya money on a shortie is getting punk'd out. the thing is as long as both parties are involved in the cash department i cant see a problem

Thats what you say in a new relationship.
When shit gets deep (Greek) you will realize you can't pay bills with love.

Fact: Financial issues are one of the highest reasons behind divorces in America.

But if she makes good money, you the financials shouldn't be a real issue.

This is America. Love don't pay the bills here. It's just how it is. I was like you once. As I got older, I realized that money matters. A woman doesn't want a broke man. I'm sorry but that's just how it is here in America. Money talks!

Due to this ongoing issue with women and money, I've decided not to get married nor have children. I'll won't get f***** like most men.

I will love my wife till death do us apart and I know that if she's gonna be my wife she's gonna love me equally, and fuck I know that if one of us will earn more than the other that won't affect our relationship and inferiority or superiority won't be based on that matter

that's just some ignorant shit and a relationship ain't a contract, it's a fuckin vow

I understand what you are saying and I agree with you 100%. People have to understand that things have changed. It's 2008. People aren't looking for love anymore. They're looking for money and sex.

arguing over money can/does ruin many relationships. you won't really have to face the money issue until ya'll start living together.

it's not all about how much you're earning as long as you're earning. you don't always have to split everything 50/50 if you come to an agreement. i very much doubt there are women out there who would want a lazy slob who does nothing but mooch off her. even if you're studying, there are women out there who are willing to support you if they think you're worth it in the end.
