King Geedorah. That drunken babble fitted the beat better than Bobby Digital or Nas.

DOOM was the first to use it, so his is the best.

you also forgot "Unstopable" by Ill Bill.. it's too long ago I listened to the King Geedorah version but the best between RZA/Ill Bill/NaS I have to go with RZA (at least as far as the beat goes, Nas was the best lyrically though I enjoyed the short autiobiography of RZA alot).

DOOM for sure, RZA did it well but DOOM's version i heard first and i think the mcing on it is better as well. Wasn't the biggest fan of Deck's verse but Mr. Fantastik is crazy

RZA's beat was better, Nas's song was better, never heard the MF Doom version.

doom gets dickrid more than any other underground rapper and therefore it makes him highly overrated

nas killed it, anyone hating is sleeping on the direction of hip hop

doom's relevance <<<<<<< soulja boy's relevance

hahah of course

So if a Nas fan likes Nas' version the best, than he is a dick-rider correct?

What about the Mathematics and Mos Def versions?

If you're going to make a definitive thread, make the thread definitive!

my guess is the original thread starter was thinking of the 2 versions that came out within weeks of each other, and then just like good little underground rap fans do, brought up the doom version to show that it's SO superior just cause no one has heard of it

if anyone actually listened to the nas version you'd realize that lyrically it shits on all other tracks that used that sample combined

liking doom is the same as liking a wes anderson movie. it's cool to say it, but actually doing it is just homo

i voted for doom's since it was the first one that i listened to. but i think the rza's beat would go great with nas's lyrics

Nas version is hot
RZA version is hot

but Doom did more with the sample instead of just looping it and and adding drums under it

Jesus Christ, Buckshots got severe verbal diarrhea. To paraphrase: 'Anyone that likes MF Doom or Wes Anderson joints is gay'. What a tool.

Anyway, I like all 3 versions. RZAs takes it for me because the 2 verses are better than the Nas ones or Doom ones, and the production is more subtle than the other 2.

True. He also added scattered cartoon effects.
