i had the original murda music... the only difference was that the retail version had more tracks, so they figured since it leaked to put some new songs on it.

I still have the promo version. It has a girl on every song saying, "this is for promotional use only. Mobb Deep returns in 99' with Murda Muzik... coming soon...cop that." Once I get my CD's back I'll up it.

Here is a collection I put together of all the cut tracks from Murda Muzik in a .rar file, with minimal DJ participation. only the last 3 have a dj or the promo girl. some quality is better than others, bust this is mostly excellent quality

I remember some unreleased Mobb joints from just before Murda Musik dropped claaa7, there were a number of 12" vinyl singles that were circulating, I remember this was around the same time songs from Nas' "I Am" leaked & got put on white label bootleg vinyl.

Here's what I have on white label vinyl:

Perfect Plot
Big Noyd - Where Do We Go From Here feat. Havoc & Chinky
Big Noyd - Streets Will Leave You Dead feat. Havoc
QB To Southside feat. Fredro, X1 & Sticky
Illustrious (alternate mix from the album version)
Sheisty

I would check J Love's mix cds for more material, esp. Mobb Misses Pt. 2, even though that one is horribly mixed and hissy

this was the first bootleg i ever got. the record shop on my block had it. the second was wu forever, i payed 5 bucks extra just to have it the day before it dropped, it was on a dubbed cassette. luckily i got it the same day my OZ. came in. safe to say it was a good night. and yeah i bought the double cd a couple days later. just like murda muzik.

^^^^^ pretty sure i got that backwards since forever came out first

^ it was an album that was leaked in advance quite a while before it was supposed to be released. it didn't have all the songs if i remember right, but it did have the songs "Settlement" and "Night Shift" - the latter whcih is absolutely mindblowing stuff
