Common - Don't forget that his song about embodying hip hop in a form of a woman is still a blueprint many rappers copy today.(throughout the world)

Pharaoh Monch. - Very creative, in terms of delivery and flow especially

Shittin on mc's

Odb is also there, with his delivery

Slick Rick definitely with his storytelling - way ahead of his time, and he still has it, just go back to his verse on Auditorium with Mos Def.

Ghostface , Outkast, Krs One, Nas, Gza...

these guys have creative ways of rhyming or have a lot of different concepts. honourable mentions to Nas [altho fetus, i gave you power are not his ideas], Pharoahe, Lupe, ....

Masta Ace and Ghostface are creative, but...u know...there is only one Supreme Clientele, where he made a few same albums, and Ace is kinda boring nowadays

I love the way he can tell a story without making it blatantly obvious what the story is.

You do know that MF Grimm is a legit freestyler battler right? Back in the day he went toe to toe with Supernatural, no footage or anything but I remember Supernat speaking on it and he said MF Grimm came at him hard and gave him a good run for his money. So I wouldn't be surprised if anyone feels this way. He's dope as fuck tho.
