^This is video from the first of a series of raids Ramsey County Sherrifs deputies carried out on groups, people and locations related to plans to protest the Republican National Convention. This raid happened at 10pm on Friday night and Wyoming and Smith in St. Paul.

Protesters here in Minneapolis have been targeted by a series of highly intimidating, sweeping police raids across the city, involving teams of 25-30 officers in riot gear, with semi-automatic weapons drawn, entering homes of those suspected of planning protests, handcuffing and forcing them to lay on the floor, while law enforcement officers searched the homes, seizing computers, journals, and political pamphlets. Last night, members of the St. Paul police department and the Ramsey County sheriff’s department handcuffed, photographed and detained (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/30/us/politics/30arrests.html?adxnnl=1&adxnnlx=1220104985-Dcl+Tjoc3eipfJB8HL+HPQ) dozens of people meeting at a public venue to plan a demonstration, charging them with no crime other than “fire code violations…”

ITS HAPPENING PEOPLE, THIS IS NO LONGER A 'FREE COUNTRY'. This is why there has to be change, USA is being led down the wrong path by the evil democrats.

Exactly. Why would the "evil democrats" care if someone was trying to fuck up the Republican convention?
