Nash seemed a little out of it on the mic tonight.

When was the last time Mysterio was heel? The WWE is so stale with never changing some of the wrestlers from face to heel and vice versa.

How many times is Orton going to be champion?

At least the Triple H/Nash/CM Punk storyline is holding some interest at the moment. Steph sending Nash text messages.

I think wwe has been alot better lately with certain aspects and better wrestling.

They could change make a few other changes with regards to heel turns, etc, like they did with Christian and Shamus (although we will have to see where that goes with his face persona after his loss in the pay per view).

They don't usually surprise me these days with the heel/face changes, unless if they changed good ol JR to heel, that probably would be out the blue, lol.

As you suggested before, Cena would have made a good change but then that means Punk would have go down the face route, which it looks the way at the moment obviously with the crowd on his side.

It also seems at times, they are slightly venturing away from pg with Punk comments among other things.

I haven't followed Mysterios whole career so I don't know if he would make a good heel, but I just can't picture him being a bad guy or being able to act bad or play up to the crowd as a nasty person, so I don't know if they could pull that off? As I said, i'm not an expert on him, but that's how I see it.

I can't comment on Nash as I haven't seen Raw yet as I recorded it.

Rey Mysterio had some heel runs in WCW with his mask off. He was pretty good at being a heel, though he was usually in a group at the time. It gets rather boring seeing guys doing the same thing over and over for years like Mysterio and Cena. TNA is the opposite where they sometimes turn people back and forth too much. Who do you think is behind bringing Nash in?

I thought Stephanie was behind Nash coming back (for the storyline that is).

Not sure if this rumour is true, but I thought the old click was getting back together including xpac, nash, hhh, michaels.
I doubt that they would wrestle that much and this probably won't happen if people keep talking about it on the net, as you know how much vince hates people being right first before it happens, lol.

We will see.

--WWE Demands Kevin Nash To Dye Hair

Kevin Nash reportedly tried returning to WWE TV without dying his hair black but officials insisted that he dye it black because they wanted him to look younger. Nash tried to get out of it but WWE wouldn’t budge. It’s said that Nash prefers his gray hair and when he was in TNA, people pushed for him to dye it but he wouldn’t.

Smackdown Spoilers 8/26

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, here we go.

* Bret Hart opens the show and will be tonight's guest General Manager. Bret said he made the decision to take SmackDown live next Tuesday night and announces Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton for the World Title. Christian comes out and blames Edge for his loss at SummerSlam. Christian wants a rematch against Orton next Tuesday. Bret called Christian an embarrassment to Canada. Christian had a court order that says he gets his title shot before anyone else. Bret makes Christian vs. Orton in a Steel Cage for Tuesday. Mark Henry comes out and he's upset. Henry wants the winner of Orton vs. Christian and wants his title shot. Sheamus appears and says he's going to do something his uncle did once - castrate a black bull. Sheamus cleared Henry from the ring and then they re-filmed the whole Sheamus/Henry deal.

* Christian defeated Daniel Bryan with the Killswitch.

* Wade Barrett came out to face a local wrestler. Barrett talks about what he's done in WWE and says he won't face a local wrestler like this guy. Barrett said this is an embarrassment and left.

* Sin Cara defeated Heath Slater after a bad match. They had to re-film the ending because it was botched too bad.

* Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase came out. Cody talked about how he is going to resurrect the Intercontinental Title.

* Randy Orton beat Ted DiBiase with the RKO in a good match. After the match Cody hit DiBiase with CrossRhodes and put a brown paper bag over his head.

* Kelly Kelly defeated Tamina.

* Ezekiel Jackson defeated The Great Khali with the torture rack.

* Randy Orton appeared on the big screen and wondered how many times he has to face Christian after the cage match was advertised for Tuesday night.

* Sin Cara beat Heath Slater again. They re-did the whole match and it was significantly better than the first.

* Sheamus beat Mark Henry by count out after putting Henry into the announcer's table. After the match, Henry hit a World's Strongest Slam on Sheamus and the steel steps

- CM Punk and Steve Austin got fans riled up on Twitter this afternoon after the two went back and forth with some friendly banter.

Austin wrote to Zack Ryder that he shouldn't put a lime in a beer after Ryder talked about drinking Bud Light Lime. Punk replied that the lime is used "to make it not taste like piss" and that beer is "still poison."

Austin replied with the following remark: "you oughta mind your own business...stay focused on Nash and leave the beer drinking to me...Punk."

Punk replied to Austin with: "focus is my middle name...Steven."

Austin then ended the conversation with the following: "my middle name is Whoop Ass...now go about your business before you step in a big pile of what did I get myself into now??"

Jeff Hardy's wife, Beth Britt, is steamed with Matt's latest attempt 'to work the Internet' as police showed up to her North Carolina residence this evening on a suicide call.

She angrily wrote on her Twitter account, "When the cops show up to our house at 11 pm, for a "suicide call" the f***ing joke is over @MATTHARDYBRAND. Stop trying to work the Internet."

A fan wrote to Britt, "Who the hell calls 911 and sends them to the wrong f'n house?" She responded, "Apparently someone that believed the stupid video."

She then wrote, "I guess you got what you wanted @MATTHARDYBRAND. Everyone is talking about you, again. But it's not in a good way."

Apparently Hardy feels suicide is a joking matter. Again, we appreciate all your concerns and calls regarding the video and tweets. Something like that needs to be taken seriously. It's better to at least check and be safe rather than have it be to late.

cm v h3 was sick... i enjoyed the russo-esque plot,/finish to the match..

All i know of is 'smarts' and 'marks'.

'Smarks' must be some new slang i ain't up on lol I still like wrestling but I stopped watching it closely at about 2003.

1996-2003, those were my years. Anyway, I didn't peep RAW so I still don't know what happened after NOC. What happened with Nash-HHH?

i been off wwe for a very long time.. only when i think itwas check 2 or fatal posted the cm punk shoot interview/i quitting shit.. that i started to pay attention again ( andthats just too cmn miz. hhh)

i think we had the same years when we watched wwe closely.. (still preferred ecw during that time tho)

shame most of ecw's stars crossed over to raw.. some made it.. some sucked :(

my fave time in wwe was.. when rvd was getting the push.. and won the title! then him and sabu, fucked up.. one nite stand(part one) is my all time fave wwe ppv.. closely followed by one night stand 2.. which is when cm punk debuted(even tho punk doesnt class that as an WWE ppv) lols

last 5-7 years shits been dead

what happened on raw? good question..
punk started the show.. started speaking on the conspiracy..
then h3 came out.. and was like.. stop bitching.. u loser!
so punk was like.. miz n truth are correct.. theirs dodgey shit going on.. but not like how they(miz/r) think.. then
john larangitis comes out.. and punks like.. your involved in it.. etc... not much happens..
larangitis fires punk.. h3 re instates..

sets up cena and punk, v miz and r truth as mainevent..

truth and miz arrive to the stadium(miz's home crowd) awesome truth. go straight to hhh aplogise.. etc.. they keep their jobs! but are finded 1/4mill each..
mainevent..
cena gets owned by awesome truth.. punk comes in.. kills them both..
fight over..
h3 music hits..
'punk. you thought well, miz and truth,. your fired'
truth and miz goto find h3. then they jack him.. infront of all the wwe roster..
then h3 gets miz and truth thrown out.. lols was funny

that was the end..

i think somthing is building with awesome truth, and john laringitis.. and kevin nash..

i dont even recall nash being on the show.
but he was involved in night of champions! haveu seen that ppv?

When I read the main event results from the PPV, it seemed pretty bizarre, lol Some were saying Truth was just that crazy, but it obviously ties in to the conspiracy/storyline. Looking forward to the faction that Nash is forming.

It's about time that Mark Henry won the title. His headbutt wasn't anywhere close to hitting Lawler in the head on Raw. How many times are they going to put the belt on Cena? I thought it was bad years back when they kept Hogan as a face forever, but this might top that.

WCW during the time period of around 96-98/99 was one of my favorite eras to watch wrestling. I liked how it was kicking Raw's ass in the ratings every week, and it deserved to be as it was definitely more entertaining than Raw. IMO, Russo was one of the main ones that ruined WCW with his crappy storylines though. If they wouldn't have brought him in, maybe WCW could have survived. Probably not, but it couldn't have been any worse than it turned out to be near the end.

Yeah that DVD was bullshit, way too biased. WCW died because in early 99 the show was rubbish and most the stars won't around. I remember Nitro at that time was 3 hours and maybe 30mins was actually decent and 2hrs 30mins was no name dudes wrestling each other. Then, when Vince purchased WCW he had a chance to do something great but his ego fucked everything and all we seen was WWE guys making fools of the WCW guys.

We already know that The Rock and John Cena will join forces for a five-on-five Survivor Series elimination tag match. We also know that WWE has been teasing a potential of Kevin Nash leading an NWO or NWO-like faction via their official website. Finally, we know that Nash, The Miz, and R-Truth have all been fired per the storylines.

It appears to this viewer that WWE is creating a new version of the NWO some type of faction featuring the fired wrestlers. To make it easier, let's label this group as the NWO while acknowledging the possibility they could come up with a new faction name. If they are going with the NWO name, then I'd also add Big Show to the mix since he was a member of the faction during its infancy in WCW. That leaves one open spot as far as Survivor Series goes on that side of the ring, and we'll get to that spot later.

Although WWE and Rock have spilled the beans about he and Cena joining forces at Survivor Series online, they have yet to spread the word to the television audience. Thus, once the NWO reveals itself on television, I would play it up as if the group is such a threat that Rock and Cena have agreed to put their differences aside for one night for the good of WWE.

The question is which wrestlers will team with The Rock and John Cena. Granted, the match could be all about those two, as WWE could always put some mid-card talent with them in hopes of giving them some rub or simply to serve as fall guys with the goal of having them lose early to stack the deck in the NWO's favor and create a 5-2 situation. After all, we all know how much WWE loves to make it seem like the odds are against Cena.

If I were booking the match, I'd go against the grain. I'd position this as Rock and Cena co-captaining a WWE Dream Team. The team would consist of Rock, Cena, Triple H, C.M. Punk, and a returning Mick Foley (if he can receive medical clearance) all fighting for the WWE side.

I left the identity of the fifth member of the NWO team open for a reason. In the weeks leading up to Survivor Series, the WWE team could confidently boast that the NWO has nothing compared to the team they've assembled. They could openly mock the idea of it being Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, or Sean Waltman as the NWO members remain mum about the mystery man.

Two or three weeks before Survivor Series, Nash would reveal that the NWO mystery man is actually a member of the WWE Dream Team. Let the infighting and finger pointing on the WWE Dream Team begin.

In the process, a compelling case would be made for why each member of the WWE team would side with the NWO. Is Foley bitter and jealous over The Rock's success? Does Rock despise Cena so much that he set him up or vice versa? Has former Nexus leader Punk been pulling the strings and planning this all along?

Ultimately, I would shock the world by essentially moving John Cena into the same role that Hulk Hogan played when he turned and joined the original NWO. He'd be the last person that the average WWE viewer would suspect, and it would play out on a big stage at Madison Square Garden on a Big Four pay-per-view.

Granted, turning John Cena is a risky move for WWE, but I believe the timing is right. It would set up Cena as the heel heading into WrestleMania 28 for a match in which he'd be booed out of the building during anyway, and the loss of Cena merchandise sales to the kids could potentially be replaced by merchandise sales of NWO along with The Rock and Punk gear to the teens and older fans.

Oddly enough, if Cena turns heel, I predict that many of the same fans that are booing him today would cheer him once he turned heel. It would be a complete role reversal for fans, as the women and kids would boo Cena, and many of the heel loving fans that boo Cena now would support him in this change.

If that was a planned possibility and a WWE suit from the writing team read that, they would probably try to change what they had planned to stop people from trying to guess future storylines.

We know Vince hates people trying to second guess their storylines.

But it all sounds good having another big faction coming in soon.

Since Angle is injured though and needed some time off, I can see why somebody else needed to become the champ. I didn't like how Storm won the belt so quickly, but I guess Angle couldn't go for very long. They could have done a tournament or just had the two top contenders wrestle for it. At least it's somebody different getting the belt though, unlike in the WWE where Cena seems to have it the majority of the time. The crowd was pumped for the Storm win.

Jeru
10-22-2011, 04:52 AM
BUT, Angle was injured prior to BFG, so why not drop it there to Roode? Had the perfect build up. No they have him lose in a controversial way, and have Storm win it...it just doesn't make any sense, unless they're trying to build to a Storm vs Roode feud but I don't think TNA thinks ahead that much lol.

Well I think that TNA believes that Roode might not be quite ready to become champ yet. Hogan had made a comment recently like that. Though Hogan isn't in charge, so that would have been up to the top brass to make the decision. I do think that it's going to lead to a Beer Money feud. Maybe Roode will start to get jealous, and turn heel. Though, Angle should be back shortly also. And it can be tough to know where TNA is going. I don't like how they change some of the wrestlers back and forth so often, like Mr. Anderson, lol

I was surprised that Impact got its highest rating ever this past week, since there was hardly any wrestling on the show.

Shane Doulgas talks about Ric Flair:

On Ric Flair: "Ric was the reason I got into the business. I idolized him, and when I met him, he fell so far short of my expectations. Not as a wrestler, but as a man. Embarrassing the things that I've watched him do, pulling out his privates in front of children, in a bar full of children. Running up and down hallways naked. Things that to me, and just as a man, I don't equivocate with being a man or a champion of a company, and the politics between us, and that I've watched him to do hold down all the young talent that came up. Look, no one was going to take Ric Flair's spot. He's The Nature Boy, Ric Flair! He's an icon, but he was so worried looking over his shoulder at young guys coming up the ladder, you know, that I think if I tried from his career in later years, and I for one called him on it. For better or for worse, and then..and there's been a lot of worse to it. I speak my mind, but nobody can come back and say, "You're a liar, or you twisted the truth," or whatever. These are the things that I witnessed and I watched, and to me, it's all part and partial. ..You know wrestling didn't come to this bad bottom point by accident or by one or 2 accidents. It's been a quilt of bad decisions, and bad moves, and tough breaks, and whatever else. And when I met Ric Flair as a young guy coming up that ladder with stars in my eyes. I mean, I was a young, green..greener than goose crap kid coming up, and when I met him, I was so enthralled. Nature Boy Ric Flair, the greatest wrestler in the history of our business, and then sat back night after night, week after week, month after month , watching him act like a total jerk, and treat people like a total jerk. It didn't work for me. It was like meeting your hero, and suddenly finding out he's an idiot or a jerk, and then..for all those things. And I called him on it. I called him on it, and I guess he didn't like it. Oh well! You know you got 2 choices, shut up or put your fists up, and he chose not to do the latter."

-Pro wrestler faces decades in prison

http://cmsimg.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcsi.dll/bilde?Site=AB&Date=20111123&Category=NEWS01&ArtNo=111123017&Ref=AR&MaxW=300&Border=0&-Gangsta-Love-faces-decades-prison

After a Hamilton County jury convicted him Wednesday, the pro wrestler called “Gangsta of Love” faces decades in prison for failing to tell 11 sex partners he tested positive for HIV, putting them at risk for the potentially deadly virus.

Andre Davis, 29, of Hyde Park, also stands accused in similar cases with five women in Butler and Warren counties.

On Wednesday, jurors appeared weary as they filed into Common Pleas Court. They deliberated nine hours, ending an eight-day trial.

As Judge Jerome J. Metz Jr. read “guilty” aloud 14 times, Davis bit his lip at one point. Davis had been indicted on 15 felonious assault charges, but the jury acquitted Davis of a single count.

Ohio law requires people who test positive for HIV, the potentially deadly Human Immunodeficiency Virus, to disclose their test results to potential sex partners. Failure to disclose a positive HIV test constitutes felonious assault, the law says.

Davis’ lawyer, Greg Cohen, attacked the law as “very poorly written.”

He said Ohio and Wisconsin are the only two states in the nation with laws declaring failure to disclose HIV a crime despite no proof of actual harm – or infecting anyone with AIDS. He noted some people live for long periods with HIV, which “might never blossom into AIDS.”

It’s unclear whether any of Davis’ victims tested positive for HIV; that was not part of the case against him.

Cohen said issues with the state law and other concerns are ripe for appeal.

But Assistant Prosecutor Amy Tranter said the law has already been upheld after at least one challenge on appeal, adding, “the law is there to protect people.”

The law has been on the books for several years and is seldom used, Tranter said; she knows of only two other HIV-nondisclosure cases prosecuted in Hamilton County. One of those defendants was sentenced to prison for 16 years, she said.

But Davis’ case is the county’s first case involving so many victims, Tranter said.

Each of Davis’ 14 felonious assault convictions carries two to eight years in prison.

Metz said he has a “full range” of options at sentencing, which is set for Dec. 21. Metz ordered Davis to undergo a psychological evaluation; the results will be considered at sentencing, along with victim-impact statements and other information.

In such a case, prison time is presumed under Ohio law, Cohen said. Probation is possible but highly unlikely, he said. Still, Cohen noted, Davis has no prior criminal history.

Tranter conceded that point – but countered, “Can you really consider him a first-time offender when he has 11 different victims?”

In addition to the 11 Hamilton County victims, there are alleged to be four victims in Warren County and an additional victim in Liberty Township, Butler County. Trial dates have not been set in those cases.

In the Hamilton County case, Tranter said she’ll be arguing to keep Davis “out of civilized society for as long as possible,” because she’s convinced he would continue to have sex without revealing his HIV-positive status.

“He’s shown no remorse, no responsibility for anything that he’s done,” she said.

Tranter, who discussed the verdict with jurors, wouldn’t say whether they revealed a rationale for their sole “not guilty” finding.

Jurors declined to talk to reporters, as did Davis’ supporters, which included his mother, sister and the mother of his two children.

As TV videographers turned on spotlights and asked Davis’ supporters for comment, one woman shouted: “Get out of our faces!”

And while whisking away a sobbing relative, whose face was covered with a coat, another woman sneered: “It’s just cruel, the way you all are.”

During a recent WWE creative meeting, the idea was pitched of moving CM Punk to the SmackDown brand later in 2012, to help provide the show with additional star power. Punk has not been a strong ratings draw on RAW, so the idea is that his character could be more of an asset on SmackDown, where he could continue to deliver matches and promos without having to be relied upon to deliver ratings.

I came in here to express my dislike for this re-packaging.

I thought Clay was gonna stink face Hawkins when he hit the corner post, glad he didn't.

The fat floppy guy jiggling around to funky music gimmick has been done to death, but the old school track suit, bucket hat and dookie rope he comes out wearing is pretty G.

And those chicks in the skin tight body suits are mighty tasty. :9~

I didn't even know Curt Hawkins still had a gig with WWE, I guess he's been doing a ton of dark matches and getting squashed @ house shows.

And the whole Danielson/Big Show program is stupid, but at least they're keeping the belt on Danielson longer than I figured they would.

Even Kane re-debuting as the masked maniac has been underwhelming for me, and I've been a fan of Glenn Jacobs since the Isaac Yankem days lol.

nothing particularly wrong with recycling a gimmick if it works... the undertaker changing back from a biker to the deadman for instance...

their main problem is that they move through their feuds so quickly that they end up have the same guys fighting over and over because the cylce moves through so quick... it's inevitable that they have to go back to old ideas because they waste their new ones...

why does there seem to be only 15 wrestlers on the entire roster of the wwe? the same people fight on both shows..

im sure they have other wrestlers.. like the mexican (ex wwe champ) dude.. wheres he??

punk has been class,. his commentary on the ten man battle royal was class,.
seen most of smack down, paused it and left with cm punk v's i cant recall his name! lol but i like him.. hes pretty interesting.. his mrs is fine! wish big show fucked her up more.. lol

i actually thought HHH v the dead man wasnt going to happen, and they was going to do a switch and shaun would have fought taker... hhh should own him in the hell in the cell..

elimination chmaber was alright.. didnt like the fact that before the ppv.. they was saying only 3 times has the champion(out of 12? or 15) had come out with the title after the chamber match.. but in this chamber match.. they both the holders won!!
yet they didnt mention shit after the fights,,

Cenas segmant on raw was sick, he totally owned rocky.. it reminded me of cm punk...

jericho is so lame.. lol wtf is up with his blazer.. why does he even wrestle?

can also see them twins.. getting with the cripple zak ryder.. and then that hoe-ski will be like.. wTF and will fight the twins to get the bro's love back

i only end up watching 20 mins of raw and smackdown. the wrestling is a waste of time on wwe,, its just the storyline, lol

we need moar punk and bryan??(smackdown champ)

or put punk in with cena and rocky or that mexican dude who was champ 4 months back..

--Ex-wrestler says 'heel' kicked him in bid to win

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (AP) — A former professional wrestler is suing his opponent and the Indiana-based promoter who arranged their bout last year, claiming his foe was supposed to lose their match but had other ideas and kicked him so hard in the crotch that one of his testicles ruptured and had to be removed.

John Levi Miller, 23, contends in his lawsuit filed Monday that Clinton Woosley was the the designated "heel," or loser, of their match last June, The Courier-Journal of Louisville, Ky., reported (http://cjky.it/yneWBD). He says Woosley, who wrestles under the name Guido Andretti, declined his invitation to map out the fight, as is customary, and instead said he understood the plan and that "it would be OK." However, Miller says Woosley tried to win and kicked him hard in the crotch.

Miller, who was a contestant on season two of "Love Games," an Oxygen Channel reality show, could not immediately be reached for comment. Neither he nor Woosley had listed phone numbers. In his bio on the show's website, Miller is described as an aspiring WWE wrestler who has made a few appearances on the WWE circuit as a villain named "The Playboy J-Millz."

Miller's lawyer, Larry Wilder of Jeffersonville, told the paper that Miller applied ice to the swelling after returning home from his match with Woosley, but went to a hospital the next day, where doctors ended up removing his ruptured right testicle.

Sam Cosby, who owns Coliseum Championship Wrestling, which promoted the event, told the newspaper that Miller got his facts wrong. He said Miller finished the match and actually won it, as scripted, and he said Miller gave no indication afterward that he had been injured.

"The kid never complained about nothing," Cosby said.

Miller's lawsuit, which was filed in Clark Circuit Court in Jeffersonville, accuses Coliseum and Cosby of negligence and breaching their duty to ensure that Woosley was adequately trained and understood the "moves" intended to entertain the crowd and still deliver the match's predetermined outcome. It seeks a jury trial, legal fees and unspecified compensation for medical expenses related to the surgery and other complications.
