i remember back in the days ...

we used to spend like $1 in the milk bar before school and spend like 30 cents on little sugar coke bottles and pretend to smoke the chocolate ciggarette's named fads ... and always used to eat a thing of nerds a day http://www.freewebs.com/bautista14/wonka%20nerds.jpg
i remember the day i turned up at school when sydney's water got contaminated and i found out AFTER i drank from the bubbler
when i threw a brick through a class room window for no reason
i got sent home from school once one a stinking hot day because i literally drowned myself in a bubbler with my hat ... i filled my hate up about 10 times full of water and poured it on my head and looked like i jumped in a pool
there was the word JOKER graffitti'd on one of the two abandoned class rooms and we all thought the joker from batman was inside the class
we thought the out bounds area of our school lead to a secret underground city and we spent an entire year figuring out a way to invade it
we used to spend every lunch from year 3 to year 6 playing soccer with a tennis ball
the day we played football in the playground and the grass was kind of long and my mate got tackled and split his knee open on a rock ... i still remember him being carried to the sick bay and his knee split open so much i could see inside it
in year 1 me and the boys thought it was fun to throw bricks at a massive bee hive in the middle of a tree ... we got chased by a massive swarm and one of my mates must of copped atleast 6 or 7 bee stings to the face
i remember the day of port arthur ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_Arthur_massacre_(Australia)
in the days before schools had air con we used to get sent home from school when the temperatures reached like 38 and beyond
the days before schools got the big jail fences and the school library would be trashed during the holidaysi'll continue later ...

do you remember back in the days?

I remember when the year 12's at my past school used to be able to muck up on the last day.

Until they started getting sniffer dogs and police to patrol the area the night before.

Fucking catholics.

i remember in like year 2 (1994) me and duh gawdz watched back to the future ... we designed plans to build a time machine :)

My brother has a friend, who at the age of 18, tried to build a hover craft.

It's pretty much only one step down from a time travel machine.

He downloaded the plans from the internet and didn't get much further.

i remember:

TV without a remote control. if you broke the knob you had to use pliers.
speaking of which...late night watching benny hill(the closest thing to soft porn on tv). i would have to sneek by turning the knob really slow cause the made a nice loud click.
when cable came out, watching the playboy channel, which was not ordered in my home. the picture would be a squiggly and rainbow colored. evry once and a while you might catch a nipple or an ass cheek.
