should have sipported ron paul
09-18-2008, 06:24 PM
Bush's massive spending combined with tax cuts at the same time..............Paul wouldn't have got in soon enough. and it's gonna take a while to pull out of it
paul was real hands off guy with stuff, that would a hooverlike disaster in these times
a democrat is needed, that'll do trill things with trill people, but domestic gov spending needs to increase, unemployment is gonna start shooting throo the roof, the next gov needs to take advantage of dropping interest rates and land prices by encouraging entrepenuership and building projects.

well all the big banks are getting fucked over. Bush did the impossible and put America and Europe in recession.
No one can sort this out now. they in too deep.

Depression is gonna be the right word, its beyond a recession at this point (atleast here)

nah in England its fucked. Gas prices have been raised by 30%. yes 30%. inflation is at an all time high. the countries in its worst economic condition in 60 years. economic growth was -0.3%. so its officially recession.
food prices have gone up, Oil prices dropped but we still pay £1.20 for a litre of petrol. its really fucked.
idk if this classifies as depression, but there's been huge drops in everything...HUGE, idk much about the stock market, but i know enough to know it's a disaster waiting to happen
if the gov wouldn't have bailed out AIG, it would have been an epic domino effect collapse, and that would merit as a depression, world wide.

disaster decided to stop waiting, that shit is here now, the reprecussions will take a little while to ripple outward, but its already started
and Han I'm not disagreeing with you at all but depressions are worse than recessions right as far as economic classifications are concerned?
