Going to Vegas for the first time to check out the UFC in Nov. I'm hoping some of you who have been there can give me some ideas on things I should check out. There's lots to see and do and I want to make sure I get the best out of my trip.

So give give me ideas on the best (specific) things to do in Vegas.

PS - I'm sure I've seen Vegas threads before but I couldn't find what I was looking for with the search function.

I'm Canadian man and haven't really been to the US but yeah you can gamble in all the States I'm sure. Except from what I understand if you're at a casino and win money you have to pay tax on it. Not sure exactly how that works though. It might only be if you win over a certain amount?? I don't know.

You have to be 21 to gamble in most states, but some (California) you can be 18. They don't tax you unless you win a big amount like probably well over 1000.

So are you thinking about hiting up clubs, stripclubs, bars, shows or just gambling?

There is a magazine called "Las Vegas Weekly" that you can find on the strip or in certain stores and it tells you everything that's going on for that week.

I'm really down for whatever I guess. I was on Vegas.com and was checking out shows but I don't know if I am really interested in any of them. I see they are shooting Last Comic Standing while I am there and I'd like to see that but I'm not sure how to get tickets. I think I have to get them through CBS. I'm going with like 12 people and a few are going to Cris Angel but I'm not really a fan. I like David Blaine way better but his stunt the other day turned into a joke.

As for strip clubs my buddy has been there a couple of times and tells me we have to go to Little Darlings. It's a full strip bar and for $30 you can get a hands on lap dance. You buy your booze and leave it in a fridge outside and then just go outside and fill your glass with whatever you brought.
